This place never failed. The crawfish were great size. Food was great and Maci was the best waitress ever. Great memories with family here at Crawfish Barn to take back to Houston, Tx.

The boiled crawfish were ok, but had an almost overwhelming smell of cloves. They were definitely overcooked and the tail meat was stuck in the shells. The etouffee was mediocre and it was about a pound of rice surrounded by a tiny moat of kind of bitter sauce. Tasted just like that premade stuff in a jar. The roux was so blonde it'd be hard to pick out in a group of sorority girls. The fried gator was delicious but very tiny pieces. The bread pudding was fantastic.

This food will make you drool. It's awesome. The menu is really homemade south LA. Food. You'll drive back. Trust me. Don't forget to leave with brownie explosion and zydeco rolls to go.

Went here specifically for the "Brownie Mcsplosion" and was severely disappointed. When, to my dismay the waitress informed me that the cooks were unable to prepare the divine dessert. This message threw me into deep despair. I almost couldn't finish my meal. Will update my review when I have eaten the "Brownie Mcsplosion"
