Stopped here after a camping trip to lake chicot. Me and the boys were all super happy with the food we got, the people running the stand were so nice! As for the food, I've never had better.
Our group of 9 had just finished up hiking and camping at Lake Chicot State Park, and we were famished. We couldn’t find anything open in Ville Platte so we looked up some places and saw Blue Point and knew we needed some BBQ. When we pulled up we were sure they were gonna be GOOD. And they were. They treated all of us, were super kind and had the best tasting BBQ I’ve had. I’ve spent a lot of time in Texas and not had any BBQ as good as what the have going south of Ville...
Ordered a chicken sandwich and a pork sandwich. I was waiting for a small piece of meat on both. When I opened my box, I found half chicken and my husband had a pork steak on his. WOW did we get food or what? Please their bread pudding is FANTASTIC. Thank you for your service.
