Me n my wife sat there got served quickly and we just wanted appetizer quick n go. Order 2 drinks and one of them had a chewed off nail in it, I told the server she said "I don't have nails" in my mind I was like idc if you do or don't there's a nail in my drink she went got me another one. Manager came by and he said any issues and I said there was a nail in my drink. He just grabs a paper towel and sprayed it and took it. That was all. Like I drank my sprite and I felt a nail in my mouth it's disgusting I was scared to take bite of any of the appetizer because I felt like I'd crunch on a nail and then I would've lost my calmness. Paid full price, they acted like it never happened but I sure as hell never gonna be eating there again, and honestly if they compensated me I would've let it be and never comeback here but since they didn't I feel like I gotta let people know if you run into anything like this they won't be sorry.

It took forever to get greeted and seated. When we got our food we laughed. It was very little on our plate and bowl and it was very pricey for the quantity. The good was nasty and we didn't finish it. After our waitress discussed her adhd problems and providing too much information about her personal life we got our ticket. Couldn't wait to leave.

Waited a while for appetizers and were cold when served. Potato skins were dried out like they had been sitting under heat lamp for hours but cold and tough. Boneless chicken wings are like McDonald chicken nuggets dipped in sauce -not good at all! Dont waste your money!

Best kept secret in southwest Louisiana. We love crab cakes, fried oyster salad and wedge salad, but all of their food is very good. they sat us in the bar because they were short on wait staff. we prefer seating by the windows overlooking the track, especially when the horses are running. it's a little out of the way, but well worth the trip. Recommend it highly.
The food and the service were excellent as always. Our waiter, whom we have had serve us numerous times before,is Jared. He is always professional, attentive to our needs and knowledgeable of the menu and choices for the evening. He has always been the best waiter at Rosewater!!

Love the bartender. The hostess absolutely sucks. In order to go and to a to go order you have to go to bar tender to order when she has 13 people she is waiting on and the hostess is sitting behind a counter looking at her phone. When we first arrived she said it was going to be 15 minute wait when there was 14 tables open. They need to do better with the customer service on the to go orders

Stayed at the hotel for a short vacation to watch the horses run. We ate and had a few drinks at the Rosewater. The service was excellent. The food was way beyond my expectations. The filet was so good and so were the sides. My wife and I will definitely be back.
