They do not accept cards, only cash or check. Very small portion they give you for the money you pay. The (hummingbird) waitress side-swipes people to get to dishes or fill glasses while people are trying to eat. The place needs brightening up, a lighter paint and light to see what you are eating! My sister and I happen to be in Vivian on a Monday at about 1:15pm and came up on Rascals Restaurant. Website showed that it closed at 2:00pm so we headed in hoping to get some lunch. We felt very lucky when we saw the buffet and saw that there was plenty of food to choose from. The lunch cafeteria style plates are just $13 including a drink and dessert. I am handicapped a d they wait on me like I was at home. Their food selection is very good for the lunch plates. Four kinds of meats including fried chicken, six vegetables, 5 desserts and tea and fountain drinks. Everything is cooked southern style, tender yet not mushy. Seasonings was just right and if you wanted to add more they had a good selection at your table.
