Bubba’s Grill is such a super cute little hole-in-the-wall spot! I had already set my mind on a hamburger, but their meatloaf lunch special looked absolutely amazing. I love that they sell local honey and candles right inside too—such a fun touch. We also ordered the onion rings and they were delicious—crispy, flaky, and full of flavor. Next time I’ll definitely have to save room for dessert because that looked incredible as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing food, awesome people, and the plates are big enough to share or take half of them home in a box. First time I went they had a special based on the country fried steak, and it was probably the best I’ve had anywhere. My wife got an excellent burger with a side of onion rings that were absolutely perfect. Next time my wife got the fried shrimp and I got the fried fish and we shared to have both, and each one of those was enough for two people so we had a full box to take home to split later. Every appetizer I’ve tried was excellent—hush puppies, jalapeño poppers, fried pickles, and my favorite: chicken cracklins with jalapeños. And their bread pudding is a delicious treat to finish it off. Can’t wait to go back!

I heard through word of mouth, that this place was really good. I can say that after today, its is really good. I had a shrimp poboy combo that was awesome, and enough food to satisfy a big guy like myself, and not leave hungry :) One of the better places I have eaten in Walker, LA.
