I totally adore everything about this place! The interior is absolutely beautiful, making it perfect for small meetings or for a change of scenery while working on a project. And let's not forget about the amazing food and coffee options! I recently ordered a birthday cake here and it was a perfect 10. I usually drive to Lafayette to get my favorite cake, but now Red Cardinal is right up there in my top 2. Overall, every experience I've had there has been absolutely phenomenal!

Leuke locatie en zeer vriendelijke en hartelijke mensen. Prima plek voor een stop onderweg met een goede lunch of een klein hapje eten met wat te drinken.

I had the patty melt and mom had a hamburger. Both were excellent!! This is probably the best patty melt I ever had!! The meat tasted like a fine juicy ribeye. The hamburger was a lot better than Dairy Queen and Parish Seafood, and the prices are reasonable. We loved our meal!!

I had to work late, so my husband went to the cafe tonight for his dinner and picked me up a salad and a cupcake. (Sorry that it’s half eaten”!) omg ya’ll this salad is the bomb! Great portion, fresh ingredients, and I just have a feeling this cupcake is gonna top off my night. We will be back! So happy there is a new place to eat in town!

Very pretty! Food was good. Presentation was very nice. One sandwich was a little over toasted and the other was light on the meat but overall they were good. The staff was nice but not very engaging. I would have liked a fountain drink instead of a bottle. The soup was good. We will definitely give them another chance if we pass back through. They said they were just setting back up after a move. Some items were not available. Overall a nice place and good food.

Customer service is crucial in creating a positive atmosphere, especially in a small town bakery setting. Unfortunately, the owners seemed to overlook this aspect, failing to provide the warm and friendly environment one would expect.Overall, while Red Cardinal's Bakery has the potential to be a charming addition to Welsh's culinary landscape, it falls short due to its questionable sourcing practices and lackluster customer service. Visitors may want to explore other local options for a more authentic and enjoyable bakery experience.

Great food and staff! Love the chicken salad, and my friend loves the double doozies!!! Everything we have gotten from here has been awesome. You don't want to pass them by.
