Ummmmm....KING CAKE!!!! Being a northerner...I didn't believe my wife when she told me to get there early to get a king cake...I will next time! I got there 30 min before they opened....There was a line from the door around the block... literally.

And it was worth every second of waiting! I loved it!

Thank you!

We were really looking forward to having some beignets, but they were unfortunately closed on a Saturday at 10am when they were supposed to be open. So just watch out for that.

Excellent service and delicious food! I recommend stopping here for a coffee and dessert, especially the beignets, if you are in town!

This is such a wonderful place! The food was wonderful, and they have such a refreshing variety of goods. I personally had the meat pie and bread pudding and both were excellent. The prices are very generous, ESPECIALLY for 2024! While I didn't go to the "food truck," outside, it was a nice addition to the shop. The service was excellent, and they are very kind here. I'll definitely be coming back very very soon for the breads!

Parking: Parking specifically for customers of the shop makes it easy to find a spot.

The cream cheese cinnamon roll were phenomenal and so soft. The young ladies provided great customer service by being so nice and helpful. I will definitely be back!!

I wanted to rate this bakery higher, but I just couldn't.
The lemonades tasted like they were made with Lemon Juice from the bottle- bitter.
The beignets were small and hard with too much powdered sugar.
The peach beignet was simply pie filling from the can.
The iced cafe au lait was ok....
But, it took forever! from the food trailer to get our drinks and beignets. One of the two people in line behind us actually left and said it wasn't worth that long of a wait.

I would put this place up against any bakery in America. I make it a point to try pastries from the supposed best bakeries in every city I travel to. Caster and Chicory more than stands their own against all of them. They are hands down the best around!

My wife said she hasn't had pastry this good in the last 30 years—when she was in Avignon. It's a real shame the shop isn't wheelchair-accessible yet; it would only take a short ramp.

Disappointed, if your going be closed for next week, how about you update your Google page to show your closed vs me having to drive across town thru traffic to find out that you are.

Best beignets of my life. Still thinking about them. The very large loaf of brioche bread for 5$ is also lovely. Beautiful bakery. We need more of these in America. Nice folks, too.
