Crawfish had no flavor, half of them were mushy. The dipping butter was ruined. Appetizer came out ten minutes after we got our crawfish. Someone in our party ordered a shrimp platter and that didn’t come out until 20 min after everyone else got their food. We went at 3:30 there was no crowd, service was not great and we were incredibly disappointed. We will be sticking to Crawfish City. I’m not one to post bad reviews but I’m sickened I wasted my money here.

Me and my wife ate here last night. She got a burger and fries which she said was good. I go the combo platter which I was really looking forward to the stuffed crab well the waitress told me there was no crab left so I could get either extra oysters shrimp or catfish well I made the mistake of asking for extra oysters. The oysters and catfish were awful no flavor at all and under cooked. The shrimp was actually pretty good the fries were ok. So the meal came with a side salad or coleslaw that's where I made my second mistake taking the salad which looks like it was made by a toddler for a toddler. It's a shame cause I really enjoy the crawfish here so I guess that's all I'll be getting for now on.

My only regret is that I didn't have room to try anything from the dessert case. Food was delicious - "shack steak" w/ boiled red potatoes instead of fries. Highly recommend, just a couple minutes off I-20 exit and has dualie/trailer parking in rear.

Patty melt wasn't good. Use to use real meat now new owners are packing meat with something else. Meat was rubbery. Plus for 2 patty melts with fries $34.44.

I keep trying cheniere shack as it was a favorite of my family's when I was growing up. I have a lot of fond memories. This is my third time trying it with the new ownership. The first time sitting in to eat was a genuine nightmare and my family of 5 left without eating. The second my order was wrong but I was eating with a group and it was to-go so not much I could've done to correct it.
This time I ordered to-go before I left work for lunch. The lady who helped me was incredibly nice but my order was wrong. As it always is. Every. Single. Time. I wish someone would make something of this place because I'm so tired of being disappointed. All I wanted was a dang po-boy. This is the closest place to Calhoun to get such. The food I did receive was good.. but I wouldn't trust them to handle a to-go order because when it's wrong you can't just go back and get it fixed. We have jobs and time limits on our lunch breaks. So we just have to deal with it... Back to marking cheniere shack off my list as potential places to eat. Which SUCKS.

This is the most inconsistent restaurant I have ever been too, their fried shrimp are like a box of chocolates because you never know what your going to get from week to the next.

Me and my husband decided to try Cheniere Shack for the first time. Let me tell you, I was utterly disappointed. We waited 5 mins to get asked what drinks we wanted. After that the server was not back. Then I received my food. Smothered chicken. How hard is it to mess that up right? When we received our order my chicken was so thin, over cooked and absolutely no flavor. Now mind you it came with a small side salad and I added a sweet potato because who what’s fry’s with an entree. We called the server over to tell them I was not happy with my tiny, flat, dry and flavorless chicken. As she should she called the manager over who said she will be glad to take the chicken off. By this time I had eaten about 5 bites of my lettuce and cheese with ranch and finished my sweet potato’s and processed to eat 5 of my husband’s shrimp. Now the shrimp were great. We get our ticket and there is a 7$ charge and a 2 dollar charge. We ask for the manager again to ask why the charge. She said because I took of the chicken but you had a salad and sweet potato. $9 for a salad and potato people. I was so shell shocked we will not be back.

Came here to say that the crawfish and strawberry pie are life here! We came here after leaving another establishment due to being sooo loud. It was nice to come in and have great service and actually be able to talk to each other. 5/5!!! I’m sad we didn’t get crawfish here sooner.
