Service was good and the beer was cold.. unfortunately, I ordered the boiled shrimp. I understand I should not have made that choice on a Tuesday afternoon. The shrimp was old and flavorless. I should have went with a different menu item.

New owners have taken over! We have been a couple of times and the food and service was amazing. Last time we went we had the crawfish and they were so good!

Ever since the new owners took over in 2023, this place has been AWESOME! If you come by during crawfish season, you’re in the right place. Perfect spice on the best quality of crawfish you’ll find at any restaurant. If you haven’t been in a while, definitely give it another try!
Ordered 2 roast beef po boys. Meat, potatoes and gravy was way too salty. So much meat we had to take over half of it off so that it would close. Asked for no lettuce on 1 , got it on both. Could not eat either of those them.

We stopped by and ordered some food to go today, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed in the area longer, but we were on a time limit. Family and our Air BNB host recommended this place to us. I'm so glad we stopped by.

Couldn’t stomach my seafood platter. It was heavily over salted and the shrimp was so overcooked it wouldn’t peel. I’ve tried this place twice and that was 2 times too many.

This place has changed so much for the better!!! My husband and I decided many years ago that this establishment did not deserve our patronage due to the lack of service and most importantly the management/ownership. Tonight was a complete change! Our waitress/bartender, Sherri, was AMAZING! We never waited for anything and she was so, so very attentive. What a change! A very nice lady came around and offered us a piece of king cake that was complimentary and was quite delicious. We will certainly be coming back and recommend all do the same!

I am only writing this review in the hopes that someone can address the issue.Our server was trying her hardest to keep up with her side of the building, but the hard thing to watch was 3 hostes and 2 girls behind the bar watching us have to wait 40 min to get drinks ordered. After receiving our drinks, our food was brought out with no assistance as well.I want to make this clear that the waitress (Mrs. Tammy) had no fault in our visit on not being the best, but the others around her that never lended a hand that prolonged our dinner to 2 hours instead of just one.
We fed our entire family at Christmastime, a huge group, and not 1 complaint! Super excited with the new ownership. Great food!! I live in Texas now, and this is my goto when I come home. ❤️

Decided to stop in after many years and while we were out in the area.. we arrived at the restaurant approximately 1830 hours and ordered pretty much immediately.. The waitress was very nice for the most part...seemed a little over worked across many tables around the establishment.. checked on us occasionally but was a little lacking in keeping us updated..We waited a very long time and after probably near 50 minutes to an hour our food finally arrived to the table..The food was very tasty..my food was Luke warm at best and definitely not hot.. not sure if the kitchen staff was short or overworked or what ..but I kinda place the blame there and not the waitress per se..she was was doing what she could as she could.. Will visit again..but hope this nice place will step up their service game.. a Lil sub par on that category...If this is helpful please give me a like ?
New owners. Good food and friendly atmosphere. I've been approx 6-8 since they've changed ownership and you can definitely see/feel the improvements. I plan to continue stepping my way through the menu.

EXCELLENT!!! Since they have new owners, the service and food are stellar !!! We've only been here once in 13 years ... Til tonite and it'll be our new favorite seafood place ! LOVED IT !!!
