Kind of surprised I’ve never left a review for this place. Food is always spot on. One of my personal favorites is the chicken quesadilla. The sauce that comes with it is chefs kiss. Kid, friendly environment, good music, good atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Also, I’m pretty sure it’s locally owned and operated which is also a plus

I enjoy having a good barbecue place but the last 2 times I've went they've forgotten items on my pickup/delivery orders.

Cool place with nice outside seating. The ribs were small not much meat on them but they were cooked well. They only have sweet or spicy bbq sauce I was told they didn't have plain original. The brisket was good as well as was the sausage. Nice place good atmosphere but in my opinion the bbq was nothing exquisite.

My first visit ever and everything was absolutely delicious! There’s literally no barbecue place that comes close in taste. Down to the flavor of the meat, sauces, and that potato salad were unlike anything I’ve had at any BBQ spot before! You can tell they carefully trim and prep the meat before cooking it which I can appreciate!

Nice dive! Brisket quesadilla was great! House chips were crispy and smoky. The spicy BBQ sauce has just the right amount of heat. The sweet BBQ sauce was a little too sweet for me. The chipotle sauce that came with the quesadilla was amazing. My wife ordered a spud with brisket. She would have preferred real butter and real cheese instead of what she was given.
Great atmosphere. Great service.
The outside patio was perfect for dining this time of year. Parking is limited but there is public parking across the street. They take precautions for those who have Celiac or are sensitive to Gluten.
Super nice folks!

It’s very flavorful but,you better go there early! Because, after 4 the food quality starts to be no appealing to me!!!! But, you I’ve been there several times! I’ve driven 21/2 hours just for that bbq! But, on the best days it’s magnificent!!!!!

Im sorry but this food is totally overrated. I had high hopes and was disappointed. The brisket was tender but no flavor, no smoke, no bark(tasted like pot roast/oven cooked). Sausage had flavor but no smoke or grill marks. Did I mention this is a smokehouse? You dont taste or smell smoke at this establishment. So sad. At $30 for a plate it didn't match. I will say I gave a 2 star because the homemade pork skins were really good and the yeast roll..

The staff were very friendly and my food came out fast. Appetizer with an entree was just under $30 before a tip, but every single bite was delicious. Definitely quality over quantity, which is perfectly fine. Overall a great place to eat.

I am a local and have attempted to eat here on 4 separate occasions. A weeknight, a Friday night and a Saturday night. They were closed on the weeknight at 7. The other nights they had run out of food up to an hour and a half before closing. I am know this small.
community likes having one other BBQ place in town, but it is a real chore to get in. The 4th time we arrived super early(6:00) on a weeknight and were able to get served. The service was good and food was OK. The portions were really small for the price. This makes it even harder to go to. We had friends in from out of town and they wanted BBQ. We recommended this place. The called to tell us that Jacs was out of food and the line for Trapps was out the door. They had settled on Flyin Heart. I really hate they are running out so early. They have been opened long enough to have some historical data now and should be able to know how much they need to have to serve. I wish I could rate higher but hours, running out of food and value just aren't getting it.

We got there too late to get the smoked meats, but had the best burger of my life. Owner was walking around talking the whole time, 10/10 in EVERY SINGLE category. My daughter got the street corn and was the best we’ve ever had, same for me with the Brussels sprouts. I would highly highly recommend for anyone in the Monroe area. SO worth it.
