Too high for me. Don't like tiny platter. Meat was dry in spots, my 1st and only visit. BBQ beans were the best I've tasted.

We were visiting family and they recommended Jac's for lunch. I got a pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious! The lac and cheese had a little kick to it, which I wasn't expecting, but it was also very tasty.Rose and Barbie were extremely friendly. The customer service was beyond fantastic, that I wished google could add a 6th star just for this place. We will definitely come back during our next family trip to Monroe

BBQ West doesn’t have anything to worry about. I had a 3 meat plate & tea. The brisket was good the pulled pork was dry sausage not great. My wife had chicken it was good. The sides were small and the prices were to expensive. We had 2 trips in one…. The first and last all in one.

JAC's never disappoints! Tracy and Kristi go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want. Smokehouse Burger, brisket, pulled pork...all good. But the flash fries brussel sprouts are on another level. They keep raising the bar!

Went with a fairly large crew so we had a lot of different items.Sliced brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, BBQ Mac and cheese, then one odd ball that ordered a hamburger at a BBQ place, lol.Everything was cooked to perfection. I was most impressed with the chicken, as it had a great rub, that was flavorful, and spicy. The outside was also crispy, and the inside cooked perfectly, but. Not dry. All the other meats also tasted wonderful. Two onsite made sauces on the table, sweet, and one spicy. I can't pick a favorite!! You have to try them both. For sides we had loaded baked potato salad, really good, it's served cold, some places do it warm, cold is not a bad thing, just fyi.Homemade potato chips, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. All of which tasted great. I was super impressed with the baked beans, I usually only like my wife's, but these were very, very good. All in all a great meal. The owner actually came out to talk to us, and what a wonderful person. Spending time talking with him and getting his story actually made everything even better! I highly recommend!! Give it a try.PS the burger was also reported as super, and cooked to perfection!!

I just found out about this place about a month ago and I'm sad to say I just found out about it a month ago. This place is awesome. They have good brisket. They have good pulled pork. They have good nachos. I haven't had anything there that wasn't good. You have to try this place.

This place is AMAZING!!! The service was the best I've ever had. The staff was outstanding and treated us like royalty! They created the most incredible dining experience. The food was so so good. Probably the best bbq sauce Iv ever had. You cannot go wrong with any of the sides. I highly recommend the fried brussel sprouts and the Mac and cheese. And you cannot leave without a hand crafted coffee made by Rose. She is amazing and her coffee creations are a must!!! Definitely a great way to end a meal!

Finally, a new shining star of BBQ heaven in West Monroe! Visited here for the first time today, and was thoroughly pleased. For starters, the customer service here feels very personal, but also still extremely professional. We were never left wanting for service at any time, and were always checked on to make sure that we had everything we needed. The interior of this place is beautiful! Seriously, just look at the pics. The decor pays homage to "old" Monroe/West Monroe/Cottonport, with a touch of modern flair. It gives the impression of those old time country stores but with an industrial coffee house kind of vibe.In regards to the food....well if I had eaten anymore, I would have probably had to have my wife call Plunk's to come tow me out of here. We are no strangers to smoked meats / BBQ and actually have multiple smokers (including a UDS) and use them quite often. It's very nice to find a place here locally that actually impresses us, and this restaurant does just that. The brisket served here has a great smoke ring, perfect bark, and is absolutely juicy. The brisket nachos are also a must-try, and if you are super hungry, brave, or need a LARGE app to share with the family, be sure to get the FULL order. It's a biggun'. You can also customize the nachos with a selection of meat (brisket or pulled pork) as well as sweet (or spicy) BBQ sauce drizzle, and cheese. For sides, I believe the shining star on this trip would be the Mac n' Cheese. It has a milder bite to it than others I have tried which have typically used sharp cheddar and gouda with a Bechamel sauce, but it does have a nice bit of smokiness to it.Overall, we very much look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu!

Got the ribs. They were okay, tender and juicy enough but bland. I usually like a little sauce with mine, but the bbq sauce here is awful. Both the regular and spicy taste almost just like ketchup and are way too sweet. The coleslaw was okay. Mac and cheese also kinda bland. The server was not particularly friendly. All in all, a solid 3 star experience. Really like the atmosphere, food was just okay. I have had better barbecue and probably wouldn't choose this place again.

The food was good, and the service and staff were super friendly. The portions were super small for the price. Awesome environment though.
