We pulled up at 6:30 not realizing the store closed at 5:00 because store hours were not updated. I decided to call because the lights were still on and to my surprise they answered the phone. They told me they have tried to tell the owners that the times were wrong, but they won’t change it. I do appreciate them answering my phone call, but was a bit shocked when they did answer almost 2 hours after closing.

Let me start by saying I’ve been a patron of the Ruston pjs coffee on several occasions. Their coffee is always good and the service is always on point. This location PALES in comparison. I put the blame entirely on management. We stopped by in the afternoon to find only one girl running the ENTIRE store. We had an excessive wait and our coffee was not made correctly at all. Both drinks tasted horrible. I don’t blame that poor girl at all I blame management for putting her in that position and lack of training. The owners and management of this location need to step up. If Ruston can get it right surely they can find someone in WM competent enough to do the same.

Starbucks has no chance if this is in town! The beignets are amazing and the coffee is fresh! The best place to go for coffee and to chill out for awhile.

If you have some where to be this isn’t the place to go. They are so slow. Their coffee is weak doesn’t even seem like it has caffeine in it.

Great coffee and breakfast, awesome vibes, but I think they need a ‘husband protection plan’—my wife loves it so much I might need a second job to fund her coffee habit 😂☕️

Too much talking and not enough working. Waited 15-20 minutes for beignet bites & an energy drink. Didn't call my name while my drink just sat there to be watered down.

It's pretty bad for the price. This was the sandwich that was given to me after I waited about 10mins in the drive thru. This was my first time trying PJs and I definitely won't be going back.

Came there the other day, it was ok, just wasn’t the best in my opinion, great staff though!

I have nothing to say about the service or menu items, but since I have been more than ignored by the new owner Bobby Mounts I am having to leave a review to get attention on this. I used to work here and have recently left because of the new ownership. I worked almost 20hrs under the new ownership before I left as well as some of my coworkers. I haven't been paid the money he owes me which is around $200 for the two days I worked and its frustrating because I have a life and bills and a mortgage to be paid and this has put me out in a situation where im struggling to pay bills. Yes I know $200 is very little to business owners since they make well over that and most likely consider it pocket change. I am the only one that has not been paid by Bobby Mounts and I have contacted corporate and him several times and have been ignored by him. This feels like a personal attack and I cant help but feel like its because im of a minority race and defended myself when he claimed we served spoiled food and drinks before he bought the store and talked down on our previous manager and owner. I just need my check and it shouldn't be this hard to get the money I worked for. I loved working at this store for the past 2years and meeting all of the customers who became a part of our everyday lives.

This coffee was horrible. I can't even describe it. Was suppose to be praline and cream however it taste like triple expresso with nothing added. Came very dark which was worrisome. Strong taste with no praline caramel vanilla flavor whatsoever.

After a long day I was looking forward to a nice cup of my favorite drink from PJs. I go through the drive through around 5:45pm(regular business hours) and I notice the menu screen is black and there is no sign indicating any issues, so I drive around to the window, sat there, no one came but I can see people on the inside sitting down…slightly frustrated that no one came to the window I just decided to go in. I walk inside, the workers looked me as they worked but no one greeted me, I proceeded to the counter to place my order still no one greeted me. Finally a girl comes out the back sees me, looks at her coworkers confused and then back at me and tells me that they’re closed for a meeting and she didn’t know the door was still unlocked…….. I know my face read “are you serious?!” As I threw my hands up.
Having a meeting during regular business hours is one thing but at least have signs up so customers can know! I hate to leave a bad review because I love PJ’s coffee but this was an unprofessional experience that was very much avoidable and could’ve been handled better.

Today was the first day off i had in a while. And I was out running errands today. Seen Pjs and stopped in. When I walked in, there was an immediate warm and inviting welcome. I got the beignets, the swamp attack seasonal energy drink, and a large caramel granita.

My rankings on the food and why

Beignets 10/10 fluffy, not greasy. Not overpoweringly sweet.

Carmel Granita 9/10. Good. Strong coffee. The only thing that I would suggest, in my opinion, would be to put some caramel drizzle throughout the cup before putting the coffee in. I think it would better some caramel flavor and also cut down just a teeny bit on the coffee flavor for some who dont like strong coffee.

The swamp attack energy 9/10
I would add some more caramel flavor to it. Cause I really only taste the caramel flavor in the aftertaste. I like the tartness and the dizziness in the drink, tho

We came on a Sunday and it seemed to be understaffed. We waited for about an hour and then just decided to get a refund and leave after not receiving our food or drinks. One of the workers decided to lock the doors so customers could not get in and that made the incoming customers unhappy to see people in there and not understanding why the doors were locked. I’m not sure the situation but if y’all know it’s going to be that busy then prepare to have more people working instead of locking the doors and keeping customers out. The workers seemed very stressed and I hated that they were put into that situation. Just for future reference, maybe have more workers on a Sunday because it seems to be very busy.
