The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything is top notch here! Be prepared to take half of your meal home, because you get a lot of food ?

I feel like people don't give this place enough credit. The food is amazing and affordable, not to mention they cook in front of you for an overall great experience. I have been going for years and not once have I had a bad thing to say about it. The cooks are super nice and the service is great. Totally recommend for a local place to eat with family and friends! More the merrier!

They don't serve pink sauce. Huge pink sauce guy here. I won't be returning bc of it. Food was great otherwise.

Excellent food prepared at your table. A pretty nice show. Wide menu selection. Note: Be prepared to spend ~ $100 or more for two. This place isnt cheap, however you are paying for the food prep and cooking entertainment. Food quality and atmosphere is excellent.

Food was great, stopped in about 1 hour before close and the place was quiet and staff was attentive. Really enjoyed the sushi! Only thing my wife and I noticed was that while their Nigiri is cheaper than others in Monroe, the cuts of fish are half the size of other sushi restaurants for not half the price. Sounds nitpicky sure, but just an honest review!Regardless, I will stop in again!

Food was fresh and was made fast for to go order. Everything was packaged up good. Plenty of included soy sauce and chop sticks.

Just left without eating tonight although I’ve eaten here a dozen or more times. I had a bottle of water to drink (with bar drinks) because their water taste like toilet water. They told me I had to keep my WATER up front. I asked if I could pour it into one of their glasses they told me I couldn’t. I understand cokes or beer but water is free….. and they would rather me not hold my bottle of water than make $100+ on our 3 party group. If they actually cleaned the restaurant and kept it nice I could understand a little more, but no definitely not. Won’t be back

We had an amazing experience. The food was excellent. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. Our chef was fun and talkative. The wait staff is prompt and friendly. I can not find a thing to complain about. The portions are a good size for the price, but I definitely recommend getting double rice on your order. The food is great leftover as well, as the flavors absorb more into the meal. Definitely give it a shot if you haven't already.Edit: Don't listen to any naysayers below. I've been going to this spot for years, and I've always loved it. When I moved to Indiana for a bit, this was one of the places I truly missed. If the service is a little slow, it's because the staff is super busy. If you want the best experience, get there at 4:30 pm. Otherwise, you'll find the restaurant slam full and for good reason.Kid-friendliness: The menu does cater to kids who ate willing to try something new. My two sons aren't big on vegetables but the eat some of what is offered.

We had a group of 19! They handled us well! Our waitress, Amy was absolutely wonderful!

Place is straight garbage. The service is terrible. Food is not even average. The atmosphere is damp with old carpet. Ronin Hibachi is waaaay better.

I ordered this nice meal about an hour ago. When I received it it was luke warm, and the steak was dry and like cardboard. I didn't want to eat it . I did not take it home and Ms. Gen / Jin at the register said I had to pay for it. I will not be back and learned being patient and courteous is not always the proper thing to do! At this business money is more important than customer service and satisfaction! My waiter was very good but had no control over the cook. I tipped him $5 for his efforts.

Really great place. I loved the food. It may not loom like much on the outside, but looks can be deceiving. Friendly staff who joke around and make your meal entertaining. will definitely be going back!

Service was a little slow, but they are usually busy. Best sushi I’ve had in the Monroe/West Monroe area. The portions were generous as well. I tried the Buddha roll and my sister had the Burnout. The Burnout was my favorite.
