This atmosphere was fantastic. We sat outside to view the river while eating. We had a great waitress. The food was bountiful and wonderful. We will definitely stopped here again when we travel through Louisiana. It was well worth it!

The service was great, but the food was decidedly not. Under-seasoned, and so greasy it was nearly inedible. Even the asparagus was swimming in grease. The fish was overcooked, but the soup and mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best.
We had read great reviews, but it was profoundly disappointing.

Nice little place on the river. Service was excellent. Other than my gumbo being served lukewarm, the food was excellent. Fried catfish, crawdad tails and bread pudding were very good. I would recommend the outdoor seating since you get the added bonus of watching the 'tame' wildlife enjoy snacks tossed to them.

Trapp's is a rustic Louisiana restaurant. I know I can go and get some great food at any time. From burgers, nachos, gumbo, and more... this place always satisfies! Their drinks are delicious. If the weather is nice, the riverside seating is amazing!!!!

The red beans and rice needs a lot of help. It lacked beans and rice and was runny. I thought it was soup at first. One piece of sausage is pretty skimpy. I was far from impressed. The crawfish poboy was lacking flavor and was cold. The chips with cheese, shrimp and crayfish was really, really good, as were the fried pickles.
The food was cold and our waitress never checked on us and more concerned with her big tables my husband had the steak and it was over cooked when he asked for med rare and my chicken codon blu was cold cheese wasn’t melted at all
