We had lunch outdoors on the deck nice environment staff was polite and food came in a reasonable time. One person at our table got shrimp platter the other got seafood nachos they said their food was good but the side salad đĽ was really small. The rest of us got the red beans and rice with cornbread, flavor was good but there was about 3 pieces of sausage in my bowl and the rice was under-cooked. I understand sometimes we have bad days so this won't stop me from coming back. The service and atmosphere is worth another visit. đ

Trapps is at the top of my list of favorites. My wife and I have celebrated our last 5 Anniversaries at Trapps for our anniversary meal. The food is awesome, service is always excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing. All of the staff are friendly and courteous. One of our favorites is the seafood nachos however we have not been disappointed with any meal we've tried. If you are in the Monroe area, give Trapps a try. You won't regret it.

Shrimp was gritty and the salad was funky lettuce. Better Cajun restaurant with nachos in Monroe.

Seafood nachos. When I order, I ask for the chips on the side. It always confuses the waitress. If the seafood mixture and chip ratio were more balanced? I wouldn't have to ask for that. But I do, so I can mix the seafood items together, then dip my chips accordingly. Excellent food.

My husband and I stopped in here on our way to Dallas from South Carolina. My first experience with authentic Cajun food. Boy oh boy! I'd like to thank Baby Jesus for the Heavenly flavors! The boudin was so damn good I even ate the skin which I don't normally do. The etoufee was delicious and every bite had crawfish. The fried catfish had the crispiest most delicate crust I've ever had. Everything was absolutely amazing!! Our server Wanda was delightful, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of and happy. We will be back every chance we get!

Me and my wife and Father in-Law are traveling from Florida to Arizona and they were wanting some Cajun Food I found this place online. The Rating is 4.5 Stars. Well Say itâs more like a 5 Star. Very Good food with U Haul Parking across the Street. Excellent Food and Service. Mmmmm Yummy I had the Catfish Platter my Father in-law had the Gumbo Platter. My wife ordered the Blackened Pork Chops Platter thatâs not in the Picture but we both had a Cup of the Gumbo. OMG So Delicious.
The food was good. That was the only thing worth going. The wait staff was slow and to busy talking with each other to be bothered to help the customers, along with what I would assume was the manager as he was in a maroon polo behind the bar. Bad issue with flies everywhere, they kept flying all around us up close.

Noise level was acceptable. The shrimp, fish, and fries were perfect. The gumbo was ok at best. It was thick and lacked the authentic gumbo taste in my opinion. My mom is from Morgan City. The staff was very helpful and helped me bring our order to my vehicle. I'll return for sure.

Honestly the best food I've tasted in along time.. I had the Stuffed chicken with asparagusan mash wit gravyđ¤¤. Was soo good! An the Sangria was perfect also. đ the service was amazing an the view đ đ đđ˝ Definitely glad I chose Trapps for my last dinner in Louisiana!

It wasnât very good from the beginning, but we were tired and hungry so we decided to stay and give them a chance to improve. Sadly, it never got better. The food was cold, the water wasnât clear (apparently due to a lot of iron, but still not good). I paid my $19.60 bill with a $50 bill and the waitress gave me $30 back (with 10 & 20 dollar bills). Ok, $.40 shouldnât be a big deal, but it is when you donât bother to explain why you kept it and just walked off. I wouldnât go back for several reasons: poor service, mediocre food and stealing my money.
