Would we return? YesWe were traveling thru, and we needed a sit-down meal before continuing onward.We were seated without a wait. The interior is older in nature and has some unassuming wear about the place, but clean and inviting, nonetheless.Our server and service were kind, personable, and very attentive !Our meals arrived quickly, AMPLE PORTIONS, well prepared, HOT unlike many chain restaurants dishes. No, our meals arrived freshly cooked and served hot! Yes indeed! ??We had fried mushrooms as appetizers, grilled catfish & shrimp with sweet potato fries, green salad, & greensAlso had charbroiled chuck steak with sautéed mushrooms.

Our server, Christie, was top-notch. WE ALWAYS get great service at this restaurant. The food has improved so much from the last owners! I don't know what they're doing but I hope they continue!
Basically high school quality food, but the atmosphere is excellent (considering the location), and waitress extremely friendly and knowledgeable.Even though she forgot a knife for my chicken fried steak. There was no mashed potatoes or green beans, which are standard sides with chicken fried steak.

You'll find a1 in a packet, get your fish tasting like the steak it got cooked beside, an obligatory 18 percent tip on a poor waitress service, and 52$ for a sub par over marbled ribeye, enjoy the excessive wait for your food to make it to you, hope your kids are well accommodated to attending themselves in the restroom because the lighting is about as good as the dining where you need a flashlight to read the menu if you have the slightest vision impairment. All around, i would suggest investing at sonic a few miles down the road instead.
