The food at Brown's is very good. Well prepared and served, and very tasty. Good prices too, and very attentive service. We hadn't been for roughly 9 years until this visit, and it continues to be good.

The mesquite grilled shrimp and all of the sides were phenomenal. Service was great as well. Fairly quiet with just enough music to not hear your neighbors. I’ll be back for the shrimp!

We never go through Louisiana without stopping at Brown's Landing! The food is delicious and never disappoint. I recommend the catfish strips!!

Would we return? YesWe were traveling thru, and we needed a sit-down meal before continuing onward.We were seated without a wait. The interior is older in nature and has some unassuming wear about the place, but clean and inviting, nonetheless.Our server and service were kind, personable, and very attentive !Our meals arrived quickly, AMPLE PORTIONS, well prepared, HOT unlike many chain restaurants dishes. No, our meals arrived freshly cooked and served hot! Yes indeed! ??We had fried mushrooms as appetizers, grilled catfish & shrimp with sweet potato fries, green salad, & greensAlso had charbroiled chuck steak with sautéed mushrooms.
Our server, Christie, was top-notch. WE ALWAYS get great service at this restaurant. The food has improved so much from the last owners! I don't know what they're doing but I hope they continue!
Basically high school quality food, but the atmosphere is excellent (considering the location), and waitress extremely friendly and knowledgeable.Even though she forgot a knife for my chicken fried steak. There was no mashed potatoes or green beans, which are standard sides with chicken fried steak.
