I’m not a real picky person, but I do watch and listen to the atmosphere and feel I am knowledgeable on a few things. When you let the waitress know there are gnats (not flies) as a decent issue at the booth where they are bad enough to be in your food land or your drink if you don’t pay attention to them (keeping you from enjoying your food), the response of the waitress should not be “that is probably from the door being opened and closed a lot”. When the waitress is asked, “What is the seasoning of a meat dish…?”, I shouldn’t hear guesses. In fact they need to be shown and taught how to deal with restaurant customer service better. I have done it for years. Then, if said that the food wasn’t good after being asked, there should have been something done about it. Most of it was still on the plate due to the taste and not being able to force eat it anymore. Since the penny coin isn’t being made anymore, I should have been told its exact change when using cash (since I was told the banks aren’t handing them out anymore…?) because I was given $.10 instead of $.12. There should be a round up and round down for cash payers. If card then it will be exact. That’s how the states in the north are doing it.

Canned gravy????
I had the open face burger. It comes with I can only assume to be canned mushroom gravy. I ordered onion rings and greens for sides. Sir, we are out of greens. Ok, please bring me the okra. Okra had no flavor. Pattie tasted like it came in a jumbo box from a warehouse club.
I ordered half and half tea. It was sour, so I ordered a Dr Pepper. I had one glass and had to get up to find the waitress to get a refill.
Sir…. We are out of Dr Pepper.
I’ll take a Coca Cola.
Sir, we are out of Coca Cola, all we have are diet drinks and lemonade.
Ugh, bring me the lemonade.
Sir, we are out of lemonade….
Bring me the check please.
Onion rings were “ok”.
Plenty of parking. Guessing there will be more parking spaces very soon.

Prices are not comparable to the quality of food. No where close…

I just paid $38 and my order was wrong not once but twice after me having to tell them what is suppose to come on a shrimp platter. The young lady was nice and apologized but the order was still wrong to be so high. Also, my food was burned at first

Food wasn't good at all,first ordered country fried chicken with white gravy and potatoes,brings me food and tells me to taste and see if potatoes was good if not she'd make me some fresh,What??it's was all nasty, so reordered and we got hamburger steak,gravy over cooked and salty,no fresh veggies same old taters and gravy,still charged the same full price,come on!!

The fish was horrible the shrimp rubbery and the fries was cold . The ketchup tasted like vinegar and Tatar sauce tasted like pickles

The food was overcooked, the grease they used was old. The place wasn't very clean, dark and dingy. I don't think the windows had ever been cleaned. The service was slow, waited 20 minutes to get an appetizer and longer to get our meal which was the daily special. Asked for a to go box and ended up having to get it myself. I could have understood if they were busy, but there were only two more tables of two people. Will never go back and never recommend this place.

Will never go back, food was overcooked, you could tell the grease was old. The service was horrible, waited for 20 minutes to get the appetizer, another 30 to get our meal, which was the daily special. We asked for to go containers and ended up having to get them ourselves. The place was dingy and dirty. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

We ordered lunch for our office the other day, I paid and picked up our order. When I looked at our ticket to give everyone their total I noticed they charged us full price for burgers instead of the lunch price! I sent them a message on Facebook and they responded immediately and resolved the issue that day! Thankful for their immediate response and taking care of us!

Wood Duck

I felt taken once i saw the bill. It was over $60 for a chicken fried steak plate and a seafood plate. Thats over $30 per plate! They said that i get another side with the meal so i ordered corn and they charged me for it. The etouffe had a quarter of inch layer of orange grease floating on top. The fish tasted like mud cat and way too salty. The two good things I experience were the two young high school aged girls that helped me take the food out to my car.
