Was on my list to try. It was nearly a year ago now since we went & never went back. I ordered the Shepards pie & I received a dinner plate with fried ground beef with a few peas & a side of mash. That is what it was, fried ground beef. The chef didn't even try to make it look any different than what it was. He just threw ground beef into a pan, fried & served it like that, no gravy, nothing. I didn't write a review as we were thinking that it looked like the chef may have left early & the bar guy was trying to cover for him. It was an hour before closing on a Sunday night and the place was ptetty empty, Well obviously we never went back after that.

This place could be a gold mine. They need COLD beer not cool beer. The food? They need a CHEF not a short order cook. A chef will make a menu and run the kitchen professionally with good fresh food. This will take money but you’ll be better and the place will be packed. Make it more upscale not a local hang.

First time I've had their food since they changed owners. I got a large cheese pizza, and there was almost no sauce on it, very plain, waste of money. Probably won't return.

Server was friendly and efficient.Great food and prices!Baked scallops, baked haddock and rib eye with potato and veg, each for about $23, unheard of!Portion size was plentiful and the food was fresh and hot with one exception.Vegetables weren’t hot but still tasty.Worth a return visit!

We’ve been coming here for years. The new ownership has really stepped up the game. Staff is fantastic, shout out tonight to bartenders Cheryl and Dave, always friendly and attentive. The meal I had this evening was truly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Salmon on special and added steak tips upon request. Salmon was cooked perfectly, veggies crispy and delicious and the tips were cooked exactly as ordered. Thoughtful presentation. Highly recommend

The food is very very very overly salted. To the point it aas unpleasant. Ordered the Sheppards Pie special and after 3/4 bites it either needed to be sent back or packed up. Opted to pack it up because my boyfriend will still eat it LOL but we did make the bartender aware... Please mention this to kitchen staff. It was honestly unbearable.. drinks were Ok overall.

Best wings I’ve had in a long time. Took me back like the food critic in Ratatouille to my childhood when I first discovered Buffalo Wings slathered in sauce in a foil lined Pudgie’s box. And tonight they were only a quarter each! We also enjoyed hearty salads and soups at our table. One plate included “the best potatoes skins she had ever had”!Service was excellent. Shout out to the young lad bussing tables.Atmosphere was great. It’s a bar and a restaurant in an old train station. The bar was full and vibrant, but respectful and not overly boisterous. It’s was great to see a space so alive.Kid-friendliness: An all around good place. Certainly ok to bring kiddos.Wheelchair accessibility: While it is ADA accessible the front door might be a challenge without some assistance.
