Called into Mal’s this morning with my sister-in-law, my niece and her friend for breakfast before I left Abington to head back to Ireland — and what a gem of a place it is.
From the moment we walked in, the staff were so warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious — proper home-cooked goodness, beautifully prepared and full of flavour. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you feel right at home.

Visited Mal's for the first time this past Saturday after driving by so very many times! I am a breakfast fan so was very pleased with the Steak Bomb Omelet and the homemade Hash!! Took home enough for breakfast on Sunday. I was not only impressed with the QUALITY of your food...but the service and the atmosphere. I knew that when I stopped by and saw the wait that it would be good. Actually you moved your guests in and we did not even wait 15 minutes....
Hi Mal! I just wanted to tell you about my wonderful experience this morning. Around 7am this morning I looked at my two sons 7 & 8 years old and said hey do you want to have a breakfast date with me at Mal’s? Mind you I have never had the pleasure of eating inside the restaurant but they both have. Of course they said yes and I think we were seated by 7:30.
