Ordered one of the simplest breakfast you can, Scrambled eggs, Home fries, Toast, Sausage patties and a glass of milk
1 Scrambled eggs had Paprika seasoning Who does that
2 home fries with Way too much Paprika " leave the lid on it next time"
3 dry cold toast 1 slice
4 the sausage was good but a coffee coaster is bigger than that
5 great glass of milk
If you spend more time learning and looking at your food Mr Cook Rather than trying to decorate it and spice the hell out of it.
I think you would be a lot better
Show much for trying a new place.I'll go back to my American Stevie.G's in Rockland Ma

We usually have a great time here. This most recent experience was different. The lattes were covered in honey (the outsides of the cups too), the food was good but not up to it’s usual standard (egg white undercooked, soggy potatoes), service was lacking (couldn’t get someone to bring butter), it was very cold inside (had to keep on our coats). Then I sent an email to let the owners know… a week ago… they never replied. That brought it from 4 to 3 stars. I don’t feel Ike a valued customer when I’m ignored while I was trying to do the right thing and go directly to them rather than posting a review. It seems like we will have to find a new brunch place.

I showed up on a busy Saturday at 11:30am, was quoted a 70-90 minute wait time. I went next door to the bakery to grab a drink and wait. By 1pm I received a text and was seated at my table. Me and my friend were crammed into a small table with about 6 inches between the tables directly next to us. The atmosphere was incredibly loud, both due to the large crowd and overhead music. We placed our order fairly quickly (2 main dishes and 2 drinks). Our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. The food was good, but definitely not the same quality it was as a few years ago when I initially started coming to Yaz’s. Within 20 minutes of us eating, the waitress approached us and offered us to go boxes. Our plates were still over 50% full. I agreed, but asked for a second drink. Mind you, I had only been at the table for 45 minutes and had just finished my first drink, my friend is a bit slower and was still working on hers. The waitress explained that there was a long wait time for others and she would have to bring me my mimosa in a to-go cup. The restaurant was still going to be open for another hour and a half. I told her I wasn’t really comfortable driving around with alcohol contained in a flimsy plastic cup in my car. So I proceeded to drink my $11 drink from a plastic cup at the table. It was pretty gross. Meanwhile, my cup of water remained empty until the bill was being paid and I had to ask for a refill. Overall, for a $100 experience (including tip), I’m very disappointed. I expected to at least spend as much time sitting down with my friend enjoying our dining experience as we did waiting for the table. I felt very rushed, only getting to enjoy an hour at our very claustrophobic table, not finishing our food, and being given my second drink in a plastic cup. After that drink arrived, we were completely ignored. I feel like a 3 star rating is fair because the food was at least good and the staff was nice. Definitely not worth $100 (plus an additional $25 at the bakery next door). Yaz’s seems to have become more money and quantity focused over customer and quality focused. Very sad to see what used to be a great business turn into this. Will not be going back.

This Egyptian restaurant is incredible and I highly recommend it!!! ❤️ But be warned, and make a reservation during the week. We went on the weekend when they do not accept reservations and waited 70 minutes for a table.
They have a small, theme-decorative area 2 doors down at the yaz bakery.
Oh my word do not let me loosen that bakery! My thighs were clapping with happiness!!! ?
There is a very small waiting area that they refer to as a lounge. Clean, and again all with the Egyptian theme.
There is a variety of incredibly delicious food for everyone's palate, from short ribs to a quinoa and tabbouleh dish (soooo good, and I am not an adventurous eater) and the serving sizes were plentiful!
The even offer adorable homemade drop donuts at the beginning of our meal (pictured).
I only wish I had taken pictures of the food!!!
Seriously this place was a very impressive Sunday brunch dining experience.
I am a teetotaler and it was served in a mini French press accompanied by a hot glass!!!
Even the silverware was impressive in that it wasn't short and cheap!
I only wish I had taken more pictures of the food but I think after having waited so long we were just ravenous. But those homemade donuts were made to look like Cookie Monster.

YAZ'S TABLE is a unique and delicious experience that I highly, I mean highly recommend! Just remember to make your reservation during the week! ??
Downside: very crowded making parking difficult.
At the time that we went the service was somewhat slow, and it seems that because many of the servers were so young, and the place was so crowded it could be overwhelming for them. Just be patient because it's well worth it!

Vegetarian options: I ordered the quinoa and tabbouleh dish and it was absolutely scrumptious and I'm NOT a vegetarian! So incredibly clean and fresh tasting served with hummus and pita chips.

Every time I go to Yaz’s Table, I can’t wait for the next time. I could try something new every time I go! Yaz is such a sweetheart, and while the food and drinks taste amazing, I’m a sucker for the ambience and presentation. Both the restaurant and cafe are gorgeous to look at. Also - the new online waitlist feature is a life saver.
