Nov 2025 update: dropping my review to two stars. New ownership. Coffee is even more bitter, beans taste over roasted and burned, really unpleasant. First drink spiced maple latte, couldn’t taste the flavors at all and coffee was too bitter to drink. Second drink matcha latte, so much matcha the flavor was overwhelming, color was deep green, I could even get the texture of the powder in my mouth. Way too much powder. Also it was lukewarm.

The server was really nice about the first drink and refunded it, even when I said I would happily pay for a second drink. She was very kind. When I got the matcha I didn’t have the heart to ask for a third drink. She was doing her best I’m sure.

Not sure what’s needed. Maybe more experienced baristas, maybe training or recipe refinement. Maybe they need a senior, experienced person to get the recipes and techniques right. I didn’t see any of the staff from before the changeover but maybe that was just the day and time I came. I hope the new owners can get there and I will wait for a few months and give them another shot. I’ll update when I do.

The surroundings and ambiance are still great.

Original review from a couple years ago: Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, good pastries, indoor and outdoor seating, sunny and bright. Only negative is the coffee is too bitter for my tastes. But they have great tea and they foam a mean milk. Nice and frothy!

Coffee and muffin were delicious. The line can be slow moving, but if you have time to be patient it's worth the wait. My one note is that I found the wifi to be unusually slow the one time I tried to hang out for an hour and get some work done.

Great independent coffee house. Premium product at Premium price.

The coffee is fine, nothing amazing, but is very overpriced. That alone wouldn’t warrant a review though. The fact that I’ve gone in on 3 separate occasions and have witnessed the slowest team of people every time is enough for me to never bother going back. If you have nothing but time, maybe give it a try. But if being third in line and waiting 15 minutes for a latte bothers you, maybe try anywhere else.

They never have cinnamon buns, they only sell five. If they want more money then they should sell more. I am angry every time i go to this cafe they never have the cinnamon buns. I’m never coming back. if i could give 0 stars i would.

Very underwhelming coffee for the price. Paid $18 for 2 medium coffees that were average at best. I remembered this place being solid in the past but was not happy with our recent experience. My iced coffee was watered down and the flavors i paid 85 cents/pop for were clumped on the bottom of the cup. Genuinely Tasted like it came from a gas station. My girlfriend's latte was decent but still not worth the $10 once she added a single flavor and oatmilk (additional dollar). Maybe latte's are the way to go here. if you've got the extra cash then go for it. Otherwise should have just gone to dunkin or starbucks. Disappointed

Great spot in Acton. Top notch coffee selection; the matcha latte was delicious. Cozy seating inside and out, and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit!

Every time I come here I keep my hopes up for my drink to be better than the last time but it never is. Coffee is overpriced especially charging almost $1 to add a flavor or milk alternative. You can never taste the flavor added and the coffee is always too milky and not good. Last time I tried a matcha in hopes it would be better than a coffee but again, I was extremely disappointed. There were chunks of matcha at the bottom and it was extremely milky and barely tasted like matcha. I also added a flavor shot which was I could not even taste. When paying $8 for a drink I expect better. Will not be returning

I love this unique and enjoyable coffee shop. They have a creative menu of drinks and talented Baristas. One, in particular, is named Devin! He is the friendliest barista and always elicits a smile as he adds to the positive atmosphere of the cafe. He also makes recommendations for varying beverages that are spot on!

Cute café with delicious coffee and friendly staff! It’s located within West Acton Villageworks, so it’s a cool place to stroll around on a nice day too.

This place has bad coffee and the owner would rather talk down to their customers leaving reviews than admit their employees are rude or they made a mistake. Also way too expensive for its mediocre product.
