Very bad experience with this restaurant. I drove out of my way based on positive reviews. The food (Johnny Cash bowl) was not acceptable (turkey meat dried out, bell peppers were slimy, shredded carrots were dried out. The service was terrible, unfriendly. I was very frustrated and would not recommend nor return to this restaurant.

I want to like this place because they are local and they do have some healthy offerings on the menu, but the plain old eggs, toast and homefries are just "meh." The toast is made with a quality bread but it's always "rare," with a little crisp but barely any color; I forget to ask for it "well done." The coffee "mug" is like a bowl with a finger hold tacked on, and my coffee gets cold before I've drunk half; the only other option is a disposable cup, which is not acceptable to me for dining in. The home fries are cooked on the grill and not greasy (+) but they're bland (-). I'll try something else next time I"m there.

Food was very good. Server was grumpy/rude. The only free tables were dirty and we had to clean someone else's mess. :(

The layout of the ordering area is confusing and multiple people started different lines.

Recommend take out, not dine-in.

Parking: Plenty of parking... Except when it's extremely busy. Shared parking lot with other businesses.

In my opinion this place is very expensive! Bagel and coffee (plain coffee) costs over $10. Last time I had a waffle which was not cooked and they didn’t offer to refund my money. Sometimes the breakfast sandwich is good but not consistently good. Haven’t seen the owners there for a long time. Short staffed..often clean my own table. Acton needs more options. They do have good coffee

This was my first time trying this establishment. I Tried to call order in and was told it must be done online . Drove to location and ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken. The greens were fine however the GREEK salad was loaded with croutons? The small amount of cubed chicken was pitiful. Online they show the salad with a good amount of feta cheese? This salad Barely had any. The salad cost $21 so I would’ve expected more.

I stopped here on a long bike ride, hoping to get a sandwich for lunch. It was 2pm and they close at 2:30. There were upturned chairs on the tables inside, which made me wonder if they were open. I went inside, they were open. The atmosphere inside is depressing. There were a few occupied tables. I asked to order a sandwich and was told they were only serving pastries because they were closing soon. I left, almost relieved.

Looking for somewhere new to try on the way back from Boston.
I was not impressed with the place even though it has 5 stars. It continued to have foot traffic but I believe it was mostly drinks being ordered. We walked in and it was FREEZING in there (I don’t mind it cold but this was ridiculous). We walked up to be seated and they told us that you just order there. It’s basically self serve. We had to find the menus then a seat. It seemed to be several single people sitting in full booths rather than the single seats. I went back up to the cashier and placed an order. They give you a number for your table. I had to wipe down the table myself. The barista called my number to pick up my drink. There is an area with napkins, straws, utensils, cold water, salt & pepper to get for yourself. The “cashier” came and dropped off my plate and my son’s egg sandwich (the total was $29.85 for our bill) His sandwich was an English muffin with egg, American cheese and 2 pcs of bacon… RIDICULOUS PRICE too!!!! I do hafta say that mine was very good. Then you must clear your own table and put the dirty dishes in a specific area. Other than that I probably won’t go back here.

I did not receive what I ordered. My $1400
wrap had additional mayo and I was told it was prepared with limited mayonnaise. The person only took my card I left tip of $1.00 for her doing absolutely nothing. If she did only give me bill I was amazed at tip chooses. The coffee I said medium leave room for milk was to the brim. It took a long time I had no place to sit but a man at a table for two let me sit down.
Next visit I bought I muffin and small coffee bill was almost $8.00 without tip.
Third visit I ordered coffee only the menu in the wall said anerican coffee $2.40
It was in wall on inside glass wall. The bill
Was $3.75. I took down the menu she said manager was not in and so I left.
I went to a coffee house in another town called Java Hut very reasonable. Two workers at Blackbird I visited before
Presented high prices the two workers came up to register saying that they could not post new prices every time. I said that
Means people coming in looking at the drinks list are at the mercy of their
Laziness abd a company should follow simple task.
I took to post to have people aware that prices are on their computers at Blackbird and change at their needs disregarding
Truth in prices regardless of “we cannot post prices as they go up often!
I lived and am returning to this town soon.
My friends and I were appalled by their practice prices and arrogance. Many stores before they came in this strip mall have moved. I avoid this one.

Big rip off . They were collecting credit card processing fee for the bill that I was paying by cash. This is in addition to the other house fees that they collect. Food is over priced .

An espresso ("for here") in a paper cup, tastes like paper. Pouring it into an espresso cup in a huff doesn't make it better. I left it on the counter and walked out. Note: There's a service fee as well.
