Our server Ana was excellent. Our chicken and eggplant parm were excellent!! When we went to Italy, each dinner we asked each other, "Is the red sauce as good as Folios?"

Best Italian food place outside of the North End. Making their own Gemelli puts any dish featuring this on another level. First class service makes this a wonderful dining experience. Price points are very affordable. And the menu is certain to offer your favorites. Tip...mapquest this place as Acton is horrible about signage. Local spots of interest...Sanctuary in Maynard...O'Neill Cinema in Littleton. Enjoy your date night or just a night out with friends...oh yeah, order the bruschetta or a canolli.Follow up - Beyond this experience, the following is a reminder to this and all post-covid restaurants.- Focus on consistency (Some of the other reviews listed below are concerning.)- Appreciate all customers - even those who post criticisms. Improvements can always be made.

Salad was fresh, blackened chicken was dry. Bread with dipping oil, was very good. They were great about making a substitution.

We made reservations for dinner for 3 at 7 pm at Filhos for Sunday July 2. We specifically requested that they do not seat us at a high top. When we got there the hostess was beyond rude and said that she could only seat us at a high top, without giving a reason or quoting a wait time.Ironically, we were there mid sometime mid June and had wonderful food as well as service. This hostess was abrasive and really gave the impression whether she lost a customer due to her bad behavior. Will think several months before returning to the Filhos in Acton.

This is a quaint restaurant with friendly staff. Ate dinner on Friday 6/23/2023 with two others. We ordered the bruschetta, which I can't recommend enough. The entrees came out piping hot, had excellent flavors, and was perfectly cooked. We ended with coffee that was also very good. The service was slow at times, but it was a Friday night at 7 pm, and there was a large group. Emma was our server and she was excellent at taking care of us. I will definitely be back.

We were looking for a new favorite Italian spot since Paparazzi closed, but we didn't find it today. The server was nice, but everything took so long. A server didn't introduce themselves for almost 10 minutes, and it took 20 minutes before we had drinks. When we tried to order an appetizer, but the server said he had to tell other tables about their specials, and we didn't see him for another 20 minutes. Finally ordered our appetizer and food together, it took 20 minutes to get the app and about 40 to get dinner. The table next to us sat down after we got drinks, and managed to get their food, eat and leave before we got our dinner. The server was very nice, but seemed distracted. When we asked for the check, he said he had to make desserts first. I'll give him some credit, he noticed one of us got marinara sauce on our shirt and he brought napkins, without us asking. He also brought us a coffee for free that he accidentally poured for a different table, no charge. The food was decently priced, the eggplant was good but the veal was tough. All told, we were there for two hours, and it wasn't because we were hanging around. While it wasn't a terrible experience, it just didn't live up to the standard we thought we were getting from other reviews. If you're looking for an Italian restaurant to replace Paparazzi, I'd look elsewhere.

Rehearsal dinner for cousin held here. The meal was buffet style and everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the mushroom ravioli and tiramisu. Service was fantastic and staff were so friendly. If I'm ever in town again, I would definitely go back!
Every Wednesday my son visits Filho's with his careworker for dinner. It is not always easy taking him out given his autism but you and the staff treat him like a king! He adores Kristy (sp?) his usual waitress and he beams when she praises him. Brett doesn't like waiting so saving a table for him is a kind consideration. Thank you! Dad & Mom
Met a friend here for dinner, the food was excellent, we shared a Cesar salad, she had chicken parmigiana and I had the wild mushroom ravioli. The salad had the perfect amount of dressing, so many restaurants drench their salads. The service was perfect, a shout out to our waitress (don't remember her name), she recognized the fact that we were old friends who wanted to take time to catch up and did not rush us at all.
