The Frolic & Detour team was incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating. They did an outstanding job to help make our high school reunion a fun one - including staying well beyond our scheduled end-time when they could see that the guests were still having a great time. I took someone very special to me to Frolic & Detour's 5 course wine tasting an d food pairing. It was fantastic. I highly recommend it. Food portions were large for a 5 course meal and included a great dessert. The wines were very very good. Will do it again for sure! This photo I believe is the fish/Halibut course.

Dined here at 5:15p on 8/6/2023. Food was good and ambiance very nice. People were very polite but service was extremely slow, food and drinks took a long time to come. Had to ask for our check twice and the dinner dishes were still on the table as we left.....this in lieu of there NOT being many customers at all. Place was mostly empty. Might indeed be because of the service gaps. Hope they can fix this.

Jonathon and Jenn are exceptional through the whole process! Jonathon called me on a Sunday to verify everything I wanted. He then let me drop decor off to him and Jenn the night before my sons party! They took care of everything. The setting was extremely relaxing, food was brought out at the perfect times and was delicious!!!! Everyone raved about it! Crystal was our personal bartender for the night, and was so so accommodating and her drinks were delish! Highly recommend!! Will be back for sure!

A great place to enjoy a night right by a pond! You are able to have private conversations and have a great time with your family. I asked for honey mustard which sadly the didn’t have but they mixed it for me!! Great service, Great place will come back.

This place replaced a go-to spot when the wife and I were in the area. Thou the former place was good this place is better. I got the Maple Burger and it was fantastic. Very juicy and flavorful. Wife got the chicken tacos and she thoughtly enjoyed them. Plus a great beer menu to boot. Nice job to the new owners.

We booked an early reservation so we could attend a show. The service was very good, the Margarita flight was delicious but the food was just mediocre. My friend had the steak which he said was good, I had the fish and chips which was underwhelming. The fish was soggy and tasteless and the fries were undercooked. We will go back and try something else as the ambiance was very nice!

We went here for our 5th year anniversary on July 28th. It was a Friday & although we were there at about 5, the restaurant is large enough to feel like you have space & privacy . I had the falafel wrap with fries. It's quite literally the best falafel I've ever had. The fires came out “barely warm” but our server brought a new batch quickly & they were good! Dry &crispy. My husband had the cobb salad with salmon (large chunk of fish!). Good selection of beers on tap. We WILL go back ?
We’ve been here twice and the food, drinks and service is fantastic. Salads are huge. The salmon crisps are delightful. Definitely recommend!

Have been here before for lunch which is amazing . Came for brunch just as amazing… bartender Pamela is awesome and makes a mean cucumber Bloody. Mary is delicious, food is fantastic. Def try the boujee&blue martini as well. Can’t wait to come back with friends.

From beginning to end, fabulous experience at Frolic and Detour! Needed a patio moment and they have one of the most beautiful around so me and my mom decided to go. Fantastic staff, amazing drinks (got a Tito’s strawberry lemonade drink with fresh strawberries, so yum!) and the food was delish. I had a chicken Caesar wrap w side of buffalo, so good, and mom really loved her baked haddock stuffed with crab meat.The place is gorgeous without being stuffy, feels so welcoming for everyone and very reasonably priced for just an all around enjoyable experience! Rounded out my meal with one of the best espresso martinis I have had in a while, don’t forget that part! The one thing I did forget though was to take more pics for my review since I was in the moment enjoying everything lolDo yourself a favor and go!

The F&D staff are wonderful! On this day Pamela was our server and as usual it was a delightful lunch. Can’t go wrong with the haddock tacos! And I am looking forward to experiencing the margarita flights next visit!
