I just had an amazing meal at Le Lyonnais in Acton, MA. I had the chicken livers, my husband had the veal. For a first course we both had the pate de champagne. It was delicious. The chicken livers were delicious, served in a wine sauce. My husband said his veal was excellent. The bottle of Côte de Rhône that we shared was well worth the price, only $35. My husband and I enjoyed our meal and time at Le Lyonnais. The atmosphere is like sitting in someone's home and removes all the hustle and bustle from eating out these days. We thought the escargot was the best we had eaten and our entrees were cooked perfectly. Our server was knowledgeable regarding the menu and quick to answer any questions. One highlight was meeting the chef himself. What a pleasure!
Absolutely blown away! Beef was tender and melted with every bite. Escargot were served delightfully in a crepe nest and the duck l'orange was as beautiful as it was delicious. The staff got wind we were eating the takeout in their parking lot--a couple of NH residents trying to make French food happen for my husband's birthday (but not wanting to create out of state covid exposure by eating inside)--and they brought a little dessert with a candle out to our car.
