The cauliflower bites were probably one of the best I ever had. I am from NJ and I get those every time they are on a menu, and these were unique. They weren't just drenched in sauce they seasoned and had added ingredients. Big 10 out of 10. Sweet potato fries were good but kind of soggy.
The service was a little slower than expected. The food was very good and I'm sure we will return.
Went for lunch with some friends. Restaurant was not busy. Service was good. Food was mediocre, although the bread was good and the dipping oil was also good. Strawberry shortcake for dessert: The shortcake bisquet was hard - seemed stale. Good place to meet as they let us sit there for 3 1/2 hours visiting and catching up.
Loved the gluten free choices for the people with celiac in our party. Suggestion: gluten free French fries
My husband and I had dinner on a very hot and oppressive night last night. The restaurant was pleasantly cool but not icy, fine with me, however dinner took quite a bit longer than usual in a not very crowded restaurant. We attributed this to a very hot kitchen? ...maybe staffing issues? Once the food arrived it was delicious as usual. In addition we were seated in an area with some loud and rambunctious customers. Bad on us for not asking to change our seating. So, overall, not the best experience, but certainly good enough. We usually give NYAJ all top marks, and I am sure we will again... but last night they just were not up to their usual excellence.
I don’t understand why the cobb salad is NEVER consistent. Ordered take out and this time it was missing the avocado, arguably one of the ingredients that makes it so expensive besides the chicken. very disappointing to see how downhill this location is going.
Good food but long wait. But to be fair they were short staff. Very good about allergies
Great pizza and a friendly staff. I look forward to going to this restaurant again.
It was a great experience to go after leaving Boston Pride! Our server, Arjun, was friendly and courteous, and all the food came out great. The summer bruschetta was amazing, definitely try it before it leaves.
Loved atmosphere and service was exceptional. American food served here and food is good. Would have liked a larger amount of choices but it is very good.

Ben was great with seating us, taking our order and making sure everything was good! Best service I have had at a restaurant in a while!! Food is good and the atmosphere is nice too. Cute place.
We had a great experience at Not Your Average Joe's! The food was delicious, and I was especially impressed with the variety of gluten-free options available. What really made the meal stand out, though, was our waitress—she was absolutely phenomenal! Attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place!
The food and service were great. The restaurant was on the chilly side. Enough so, that I had to go to the car and get our jackets. The small plates that came out to accompany the bread and oil were greasy. The server promptly replaced them, but it did make us wonder if the same issue existed for our plated meals. Clean silverware and dishes should be the norm, not the exception.
First time eating at this establishment and definitely will not be our last- we will be back!! Everything was great!!!
Not your average is below average. The ambiance and decor seems tired as do the staff. Food was ok, but received an email advertising “Easter brunch” and there was nothing special or added for Easter. My Prosecco was served in a wine glass not a flute, which you'd expect for bubbles. We were seated at a booth and both benches had tears in the seats. sad atmosphere.
