Passing through town I found this hidden gem with passionate owners, great drinks and a unique menu. I had the meatballs and cheese plate, they were both fantastic. The Rogue River Blue cheese from Oregon was amazing. Thanks again and best of luck!

We had the most fantastic meal at Sliver Girl in West Acton! The food, the drinks, the ambiance and the hosts were impeccable! Dawn and Tam, you have made a welcoming, comfort food haven. In order of the photos: Grey Lady cocktail, Rogue River Blue Cheese with poached pear, hot honey and baguette; popover with cane syrup & Aleppo butter; Mama Eva’s gumbo; chicken pop pie; brioche soaked in cardamom syrup and filled with marscarpone cream. This was a magical meal in a magical venue (even a soft jazz trio!). #silvergirl @silvergirl.us

This restaurant was outstanding in every way: food, decor, atmosphere, uniqueness, staff, with extra emphasis on the food and staff. The menu was quite different from your typical restaurant menu, yet comforting and familiar and brought back memories of my family meals of years ago. We were a group of seven, all ordered something different so I got to see and taste a lovely variety of delicious foods presented beautifully. I cannot say enough about how pleasant an experience we all had. Do not miss dining at Silver Girl. Thank you to owners Tamara and Dawn and our server Julia.

Loved the decor. Even had a Christy hanging on the wall. Best host ever, Tamera. Best of luck to the owners.

Honestly, was expecting to have a better experience at Silver Girl than we did. My wife and I came to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary but left feeling underwhelmed.

The atmosphere was great and the jazz trio playing was very enjoyable but a bit too loud, we were two tables in front of the music.

After being seated it took about 10 minutes before we were greeted by a server for drinks, but I think the restaurant only has 1-2 waitstaff with management also stepping in?

Signature drinks were, I hate to say, nothing special. I have made Old Fashions at home that tasted better than their TWO FIVE ONE and a couple of their gin drinks were fine at best. But nothing that knocked my socks off.

Dinner was alright. I got the Duck Confit, nice piece of duck with “creamy” white beans. Yeah, the beans were more like mushy peas texture than “creamy”. My wife got the Chicken Pot Pie. We had deconstructed Chicken Pot Pies before and knew we wouldn’t get a traditional “pie”. However, I think it failed by calling it a “stew” and was more like pulled chicken and garden veg. There was no sign of a thick soup base on the plate to be considered a stew in my opinion.

Overall it was a nice meal but not something worth the prices on the menu.

Excellent dinner! Serving sizes were fair to large (Brussels app was massive!) and the food was delish (looking at you chicken pop pie). More people need to find out about the Silver Girl!

Lost in the area late on a Wenesday night, I found this gem. The menu was in tube with the season. And the vegetarian selection is quite notabile, with disches desing with an high cusine intent. A twist of cujiun in few dishes make it an eclectict adventure. At the bar a young but experience barman is ready with an impressive selection to delight you. Finally both the music type, level and the other customers make this an enjoible venue for a dinner with close friend, but elegant enough where a less formal buissness dinner will be appropriate. Strongly raccomanded.

I had high hopes for the evening. My husband and I were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. I have always loved New Orleans inspired food. Unfortunately we cut the evening short. We arrived at 7 for our reservation but had to wait a bit. That was OK but once we were seated with menus we were not visited by a server for 10 minutes. When she did finally arrive at our table, she commented we must be parched and would be back with water. She also took our drink reservation at that time and we did put in an order for an appetizer. Another 10 minutes later our app arrived but still no water or cocktails. I have never had apps arrive before drinks. We slowly ate our app but by 7:55 we still had no drinks. We knew the night was not going to get better. Very few people in the restaurant had meals in front of them. We left money plus tip for the app and left. To be fair, the server who I believe may also have been one of the owners came out to the parking lot and apologized. She said she just delivered our drinks to the table and asked us to come back inside and offered to comp us. We were so turned off by this point we thanked her but left anyway. It is too bad because I liked the atmosphere and the menu seemed promising but it was poorly staffed. Maybe they were having an off night, I don't know but I don't think we will be going back to find out. I hope they can get it together.

West Acton’s Finest! Great place to chill and get a great cocktail and listen to some live music. Unique selection of drinks with perfect pairing of food bundled with a great atmosphere with outstanding service.

This place is a gem! The food was terrific. We had the popovers, which were light and crispy with a sweet herb butter. The brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had. And we had the meatballs, which were tender and flavorful with a zesty sauce. And the cocktails were expertly crafted. My Paper Plane was perfect. We are looking forward to returning soon. We dined on a Saturday evening, and it was incredibly pleasant and beautifully decorated. The room was nearly full, but the sound was muffled - just the light clinking of glasses and utensils and soft voices. The ambiance is very comfortable and sophisticated. Although I love the heavy blue velvet drapery, I might suggest finding a way to make the restaurant interior more visible from the street. Seeing diners from the street in the lovely room with fantastic lighting would be very enticing. There was a 3-piece jazz ensemble playing, and the sound was wonderful. Just the right balance between background and performance.

Let me tell you what: it’s criminal how empty this place was on an early Saturday evening. This meal brought me to tears it was so lovely. The decor inside is beautiful, the service is so friendly and attentive. The drinks- DAMN! I had the envious moon, it blew me away. I ate by myself, and to know, the plate of Brussels is HUGE. Gladly took some home. The bonito flakes on top are a unique and brilliant touch. The gumbo- lightweight but with a beautiful dark and flavorful roux. The chocolate cremeaux, super rich, perfect portion size so as not to overdo it. Take your friends, your dates, and your mama here. Enjoy this place to the fullest because they deserve it and you do too!

We celebrated a 40th birthday here and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The musical duo who started playing at 6 pm were delightful.

While service and decor were great, food was a major disappointment. Very small portions, appetizer like. Drinks were not impressive either. They brought us a totally different menu than what was quoted on their site earlier. Price on a higher end; no kids menu either. No interest in coming back unless they improve.
