Just went to dinner there! It is a fun town haunt with great prices and super friendly service. My partner ordered the swordfish dinner and I got the cheeseburger dinner. Mine was cooked to pr
erfection. His was too. Coleslaw was delicious and so were the fries. Over all a super fresh casual place to go to for a quick dinner or lunch.

New owners have really upgraded this place. Kids eat free Monday-Thursday which is awesome! My daughter lived her fish nuggets. I lived my chowder and oysters!

Imagine my disappointment when I arrived at Acton Seafood at the arranged time to find they were closed and none of the orders awaiting customers was mine!
We had been sick so we decided to avoid shopping, cooking and clean up and order take out. I ordered on line with Door Dash early in the day.
There seemed have been an electonic snafu between between Acton Seafood and Door Dash.
The owners apologized profusely and fired up the grill again for my order.
Not only did they provide us with fresh, delicious meals but the portions were easily doubled.
What a gracious way to start 2026!
Much appreciated.

Just got the fish chowder. Delish. I'd go back just for that.

Finally made it here after a year of meaning to...and we'll be back regularly. Had the scallop roll (sooo good), and other folks in the party had hot lobster rolls and loved them. Also the fried pickles are the best I've had. Can't wait to come back!

Ordered a fried combo takeout today for lunch. Scallops and clams was what I ordered. Grease and the stench of a low red tide on Lynn Beach was what I got. Having grown up on the north shore we’re probably a little spoiled when it comes to fried seafood, especially whole belly clams. We dug them on the flats off Conomo Point as kids. But what I received today was the polar opposite. By the time I got the second clam in my mouth, the awful taste made me think I was going to puke. The scallops weren’t much better. A greasy blob with unrecognizable taste. Save your money and your stomach lining!

I had driven by this place a few times during my visit---and finally decided to stop by. I had lunch there with my bro who lives in Acton and my parents.
FOOD WAS BOMBA! So good---so fresh...and BIG PORTIONS! My Dad really enjoyed his boiled lobsta'🦞The place was quaint and cozy. And it looked like they were closing down their outside seating---so I can imagine how buay this place is during the warmer months.
Great food & Great Experience!

To start the service and atmosphere are excellent. So I called in for a fried seafood platter with no haddock. I asked for extra scallops and replace of the haddock. She then proceeded to tell me that there were I believe two scallops six shrimp and a handful of fried clams. I just think that giving u the number of each thing was kinda strange. The person I was with heard the conversation and totally agreed. I guess if I didn't ask for the Haddock substitution she probably wouldn't of mentioned portions which were small in my view. I like eating leftovers and u won't be having that with this size. Having Kimballs Farm up the street. At 10-15$ more u get twice as much food. Anyway now for the taste. The batter especially on the scallops was super salty and oily. The shrimps were not as salty and the clams were all neck and barely any belly. The tarter sauce had a strong vinegar flavor to it. I just hate giving a negative review because the people there were so nice but it just wasn't for me.

Wow!! I walked in with no expectations. I left amazed. I had the claim chowda, Hot lobster roll and shared a small calamari. I honestly can’t tell you what was my favorite. Perfect portions, everything perfectly flavored. They definitely get 10 stars. If in the area stop by and try it.

The food here was absolutely amazing !! Super tasty, incredibly fresh, and came out so fast! Everything we tried was delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting Dean, the owner (and also the chef!), and he was so welcoming and kind. He gave us great recommendations on what to order and made the whole experience even better. Tim helped us at the register and was also super friendly and helpful. You can really tell they care about what they do and about their customers.
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit and try them out :)

Spending a lot of our time in Maine, our family is always on the quest for good fried whole belly clams when away. The clam dinner we got rivaled, if not exceeded, many of the clam shacks we go to up north. The portions were huge (glad we got smalls and not larges!) and perfectly done. Not greasy. Not overcooked. And the onion rings were a perfect accompaniment. The owners were very friendly and obviously care deeply about their business and it shows. We will most certainly be back.

I only rate it 3 stars since it really isn't a restaurant. Outside picnic tables for eating food that was awesome outside in good weather.
