We had a deliciously good time this past Sunday. It was raining so we sat inside, the staff put some tables together for our party of 5. Throughout the time we were there we had great service and conversation with staff and other patrons.We ordered food and ice cream and nothing disappointed, it was all yummy, with good portions for the price! We will definitely be back!

country whip used to be our favorite loved the fried chicken sandwiches and the hot dogs. went last year and everything had changed No more yummy sandwiches my son didn't like the taste of the hot dogs. I know it's new owners was hoping they would get it back up and running but not much has seemed to change

I grew up going to Country Whip and didn’t know that there were new owners when I just went tonight. A lot of things were different- the hotdogs, the whipped cream, the size of the sundae (and RIP to having hot fudge on the bottom as well as the top). I don’t think I’d recommend it to my friends as if it were under the previous ownership, unfortunately. The new hours are until 8 PM now, too, so you’ll need to make it an early night to get there before close. The service was friendly, patient, and helpful, though! And when we needed a change on one of their sandwiches to fit the needs of someone in our group, they were happy to do what we needed which was very appreciated. I’m sure many will still love it here but just be warned that it’s definitely not your childhood Country Whip 💔

We have not been here in a couple of years and I heard this place changed owners. The menu looked ok, added a few new things and also took some things away. My daughter and I stopped in for a quick lunch today. We ordered cheeseburgers and fries. The burger had a ton of gristle and was very dry and crispy around the edges but yet wasn’t completely hot on the inside. The cheese wasn’t melted which wasn’t a big deal, but the ketchup we asked for on the side was congealed. We couldn’t easily spread it out on the burger, it was like jelly, and had an odd taste. We asked for blue cheese dressing on the side for the fries and it didn’t taste like blue cheese. Very bland. The young girl who took our order seemed bothered we needed time to look at the menu, and literally rolled her eyes when I decided to add ketchup and Mayo to the burger at the end of the order. The food used to be ok here. Although it’s cheaper now, they are clearly using cheaper ingredients,IE:burger, condiments…We didn’t try the ice cream but I think after this lunch experience we will stick to Captain Bonneys in the summer for a quick lunch, and acushnet creamery for ice cream. We loved it here when it was the previous owner. Disappointed.

Extremely disappointed in the service. The woman who took our order today was rude, definitely needs to work on her customer service skills. I should have gotten back in the car and left. I will not go back.

Not having tried the food at Country Whip in quite some time we decided to try it tonight, the good: Clam were extremely good, shrimp good as well. Now the bad and I mean bad! growing up in the South Coast and Nantucket I feel I know fish pretty well, when I picked up my order (that was well over $60 for 3 people) I could smell the fish from the window, driving home it was concerning, once home after just one bite my fear was confirmed, the fish was bad. We will not be returning, if you are a restaurant in the South Coast you should know better than selling "Bad" seafood!!

My little dog starts going crazy in the car when we get close, he knows he'll get the doggie dish of ice cream. He gets the soft serve and I love the Orange Pineapple hard serve. We try to only go on Sundays as a treat, but we give in and go again during the week sometimes.
