It has taken me a while to write this review, as I needed time to just enjoy my newly wedded life and not let what happen take away from my bliss. With that being said, my mother (who paid for all of the wedding and vendors) and I hired Bounti Fare to cater my off site wedding on October 7, 2023. My mother handled all of the communications with Bounti Fare. We set up a taste testing of specific foods, which we were impressed with and made our cocktail hour and dinner choices. All communications seemed to go very well, and we had no issues. Day of the wedding, the catering staff arrived to get everything set up. When my mother arrived at the venue, she was greeted with very hostile staff who stated "They have been waiting around for over an hour. We don't usually come this early". That was red flag #1. My mother apologized and said that upon communications with Bounti Fare, they stated what time their staff would need to come. The ceremony went on, and cocktail hour was getting ready to start. My mother went into the venues kitchen area to double check that the edible flowers we ordered would be placed on the dinner plates, like we agreed upon with Bounti Fare. The catering staff argued with my mother and stated "No, they go on the appetizer plates." Red flag #2. My mother corrected the situation, and made sure that the flowers got placed on the dinner plates. Halfway through cocktail hour, my mother went back into the kitchen to double check that the catering staff knew what time things were to take place and where guests with known shellfish allergies were (we had a shrimp option). We were on a tight schedule, and my mother just wanted to make sure they were on the same page. She even had a printed schedule to give them and was trying to keep this interaction light hearted as the previous interactions from this staff were hostile. The catering staff immediately became irate and said "We know what we are doing. We are professionals. If you come back into this kitchen again, we will pack everything up and leave". Their animosity towards my mother, who was only trying to help make sure things went off without a hitch, was absolutely abhorrent. My mother was left in tears. They were not professional at all. The food came out, chicken nicholas was WAY overcooked and dry with little to no alfredo sauce on it, Stuffed shrimp was dry, and the prime rib was mediocre. This was definitely not the same food we were impressed with at our tasting. On top of that, they brought out more dishes without clearing away the dirty, used dishes first, our known shellfish allergic guest had her food contaminated and was violently sick. I would not recommend this establishment for catering. Their lead caterer (a short female) and lead male (tall, slender man) should not be working in the food industry if this is how they treat the people who have hired them to do a job, and do it well. I am horrified at how they treated my mother.

Why I keep going back to Bounti-Fare• Home style cooking served in a relaxed and casual environment. Portions are substantial and the salad bar is well stocked and always fresh. Peel and eat shrimp are back!• Owner, chef, musician, entertainer, and all-around good guy Dave Nicholas is always there to make sure your experience is a pleasant one• Unlike most other restaurants, menu prices have pretty much stayed the same for the past few years• Support staff is well-trained, competent, and friendly and many have been there for years• Great cocktails and especially noteworthy are the blood orange margaritas and filthy naughty martinis!• A tremendous venue for live entertainment - open mic nights, special musical guests, comedy shows, local bands, etc. - there is always something fun happening at Bounti-Fare• Special events like the Mother’s Day Brunch or Thanksgiving Dinner are not to be missed – all you can eat buffets at reasonable prices• Catering menu is my go-to if I’m having a party or family get together

Was there for our annual Christmas party and we were in the back banquet room. The food was great. The banquet room could use a little sprucing up, but otherwise it was fine as well.

I made my Dine-In reservation over the phone w/supposedly the Manager (according to the Owner). My daughter and I showed up on time for our 3pm reservation for their Thanksgiving buffet. I was told that the cost was $22/person. When I received my check, it was $33/person. I told my waitress I was told $22/person. She said that was wrong: take-out is $22 and dine-in is $33. I reiterated what I was told. She said she was only the messenger. I ended up speaking with the owner and she made no effort or willingness to change my check. I told her I would never return to this restaurant and I left no tip, since I was already paying $20 more than what I was told. In regards to the food, it was the worse Thanksgiving meal I have ever eaten. My daughter tried the turkey, dressing, dinner rolls and dessert and she left 98% on the plate. I should have stuck to my original plan, to purchase our take-out meals from Mazzeos ... a real restaurant.

Thanksgiving buffet- food was horrible. Turkey cut into chunks, not slices. Food was dry and tasteless. Very disappointing. Was a 100% better last year.

Friendly waitstaff/bartenders, frequented by mostly happy locals who enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere after work.Large portions of hearty, salty, heavy food have been my past (2) dining experiences.Stick to the salad bar, bottled beer and enjoy.Parking: Enough parking available for large events with an “overflow” lot across the street.

Going here is like stepping back in time. That is not necessarily a bad thing. Just know what to expect. Here is my experience. It is Saturday night in October (off-season) at 7:30. The parking lot had a few cars in it. We opened the door and the title music to Streets of Philadelphia (1993) was playing on the speakers. The lounge was dark. We became the only people in the dining room. The menu had traditional fare. Steak tips. Burgers. Various kind of chicken. And, lo and behold, an unlimited salad bar. The server was friendly and responsive. She even brought us bottle of water, an extra star for that. The salad bar was excellent. The items fresh and the variety of vegetables good. There was unlimited shrimp and a basket of hot rolls. A flavorful start. The main course lived up to the restaurant name, the food was bountiful. My wife's eggplant parmigiana with pasta was overflowing the plate. She said it was tasty. I had chicken in raspberry sauce, which was a little sweet for my palate, but of good quality. The vegetable side dish was overcooked and tasted like it was out of a bag. So, big pluses for the salad bar, quantity of food, quality of the main course, and attentive service.
