I went on Valentine's Day. I ordered the crispy polenta with asparagus and tenderloin beef. Everything was cooked to perfection. The tenderloin was cooked just as I liked it and very well seasoned, the asparagus cooked just right with a little crunch how I like my veggies I don't like them soft and mushy but my favorite was the crispy polenta the flavor and the crispyness was perfection. The staff was very friendly and attentive great customer service. The mood and ambiance was perfect the other customers seemed to really be enjoying themselves as well also.

The Firehouse Café is one of those places that keeps innovating. The food is delicious and beautiful. It’s priced fairly and chef Xavier is a very skilled, creative professional. He will come out and seek feedback directly from customers, taking care to accommodate any requests and making sure you feel welcome. With frequent live music and exciting cocktails, this is a spot in Adams you won’t want to miss. Perfect for a group of friends, work colleagues, family or romantic date, the Firehouse Cafe is a fantastic choice and you won’t be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options are availableParking: Parking out front on the street or behind the building in a lot

Cozy small town atmosphere with the old firehouse vibe. Wonderful to have nice dining options in town when back visiting family.

Just got food to go to so we could bring back to our hotel since we are in Adams, MA with a dog. This place didn’t have cutlery to go so it’s gonna be hard to write a review on how the food tastes. Plus they were rude about it. So I am writing this review to let others know— don’t order to go!

1st time here, seen it a hundred times while passing by, always wanted to try it but never seemed to have the time, but otherwise; We arrived right at 430 and we were the only ones there, which is something that can either make you feel unsure or make you happy, for me, it makes me feel unsure about it.We only went for a couple of drinks but we eventually got an appetizer as well and all I can say is, the drinks were delicious, and the bartender was great, knows exactly how to interact with the guests. We decided to get Calamari for the appetizer and it was so good. The owner even came up and decided to chat with us. The whole atmosphere and staff was very welcoming and great. When we have the time I'm sure for a fact, we will be back!My only opinion for change would to be possibly put a bigger sign out front so more people can see it.

I had a reservation for 6 people, one dropped out last minute. When we arrived the hostess said they really didn't have anything 'cast in stone' and proceeded to squeeze the 5 of us at a table for 4. It took over 10 minutes for someone to take a drink order and about another 15 minutes to actually get the drinks. The food took much longer to arrive than it should have. If I wasn't enjoying my time with family I would have really been angry.Food arrived, stuffed pepper app was ice cold. Ceasar salad was very good as well as the pork belly. Prime rib entree was overcooked. Burger was overcooked. Gnocchi was just okay. Shrimp fried rice was very good. It's a small place with a nice vibe, there was a couple playing live but soft music which was nice. Maybe it was an off night, I could see it have the potential for a great meal with great service (thus the better reviews here) but that was not the case for us.

We ordered fried chicken and it came raw with blood on the plate. According to the waitress the cook does this often. We decided against the chicken after 1st attempt and went with Fettuccine Alfredo with no meat so it couldn't be messed up again. Noodles were still hard but sauce was good. Expensive prices and not a very knowledgeable chef. Friendly waitresses though and beautiful decor and very neat and clean. Raw chicken could be a deadly mistake. Won't go back.

We stayed in Adams for a weekend and came here for dinner on a Friday night. The food was really impressive and we are very picky, having eaten all over the US and in Europe. In addition, we love to cook and understand the challenges of making great food. We had the grilled Baby Caesar,Peking Chicken, Man Candy, and the Pan Roasted Shrimp Risotto. Chef Xavier really out-did himself. The grilled baby Caesar was very tasty, with fresh romaine accompanied by tomatoes and chunks of cucumbers, which were refreshing. The Peking Chicken was 4 chicken legs, fried, and then coated in a wonderful Hoisin sauce that was very flavorful and the chicken was tender, with a crispy skin. The highlight was the Man Candy, which was a very generous 8- 8 inch long strip of pork belly that was very tender and fried so the skin was crispy. The sauce was sweet but not cloying and perfect for the pork. The shrimp on the risotto were perfectly cooked with a nice char and the risotto was tender, creamy and very flavorful. In addition, under the risotto was an amazing roasted red pepper sauce that I kept dipping my shrimp into. Everyone who served us was super- friendly and we loved our experience. Kudos also to Roman, the bartender with whom we shared many stories. We are planning to come back again soon and, later, bring other friends. I highly recommend this very cool restaurant!!We came back the next evening and had the falafel bites and the beet terrine salad. The terrine is cooked beets layered with goat cheese and honey. It was served with arugula and candied pistachios that added contrasting flavors and textures. The falafel was very light and creamy on the inside with a nice crispy exterior. So good!
