I am so glad I chose Shire Cottage Bakery for our wedding cake. Jessie is fantastic. We could have gone with any of the samples she gave us to try but landed on the vanilla with raspberry jam. It was DELICIOUS and she did a beautiful job of decorating it with my sola wood flowers, which match my bouquet. The cake was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I can’t wait to taste the cake topper in one year for our anniversary!

We were in town for a small wedding when the bride had a change of heart the morning of and wanted a cake to share with friends and family. Jessie took our very last minute request and baked the most delicious and beautiful cake! The bride couldn’t have been happier and we never would’ve known it was gluten free.

Jessie did an incredible job for the deserts for our wedding! She made an elegant and delicious chocolate cutting cake, and seasonally flavored cupcakes for our guests (Pumpkin, Apple, Chocolate and Vanilla too) The cupcakes were such a hit that my husband and I didnt get any! Lol! We ordered some for our one year anniversary and I definitely understand why they were gone so quickly- they are incredible!

Jessie was kind enough to bake our wedding cake - vanilla base with a salted caramel filling and maple frosting. I promise, it was just as mouth-wateringly good as it sounds! All of our guests commented on how delicious the cake was. As someone who was originally against having a wedding cake (it was my lovely husband’s request), I was simply over the moon with the final product.Not only was the cake delectable and beautiful, but Jessie was a true joy to work with. Responsive, professional, and incredibly kind. She went out of her way to drop off cake samples at our venue ahead of a family trip as it was one of the only times we would be in the area before the wedding. You can’t get better service than that!The only disappointing thing is she doesn’t have a storefront for me to go visit all the time! Jessie made a Frozen themed cake and cookies for my daughter’s 3rd birthday and they were amazing! Everyone loved the desserts, they were so beautiful and delicious! Jessie is great to work with, very professional, flexible and creative! Will definitely use her bakery again in the future :)

When we tasted the raspberry and vanilla cake Jesse baked for us to taste test for our wedding, we literally had no additional input for her — it was perfect. She also baked us cookies — people at the wedding couldn’t believe the cake & cookies were vegan & gluten-free. Jesse is an exceptionally talented and humble person who was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend going with her for any occasion!

I reached out to Jessie last minute before my wedding, when my original baker bailed on me last minute. She was extremely kind and helpful. The cake absolutely amazing! We ordered the lemon meringue and it was SO good. All our guests raved about it. She delivered the cake and patiently waited at the house almost an hour for the flowers for the cake, as the florist was extremely late. I highly recommend this bakery.

I contacted Jessie to make an order of cupcakes for the chemotherapy nurses at BMC, as it was my last day of treatment.Not only did Jessie make some delicious cupcakes (including gluten free), she wouldn't accept any payment for her work.A talented baker and a stand-up person.
