She made an elegant and delicious chocolate cutting cake, and seasonally flavored cupcakes for our guests (Pumpkin, Apple, Chocolate and Vanilla too) The cupcakes were such a hit that my husband and I didnt get any! Lol! We ordered some for our one year anniversary and I definitely understand why they were gone so quickly- they are incredible!Dietary restrictions: They were so accommodating to make gluten friendly cupcakes for some of our guests!

Jessie was kind enough to bake our wedding cake - vanilla base with a salted caramel filling and maple frosting. I promise, it was just as mouth-wateringly good as it sounds! All of our guests commented on how delicious the cake was. As someone who was originally against having a wedding cake (it was my lovely husband’s request), I was simply over the moon with the final product.Not only was the cake delectable and beautiful, but Jessie was a true joy to work with. Responsive, professional, and incredibly kind. She went out of her way to drop off cake samples at our venue ahead of a family trip as it was one of the only times we would be in the area before the wedding. You can’t get better service than that!The only disappointing thing is she doesn’t have a storefront for me to go visit all the time! Jessie made a Frozen themed cake and cookies for my daughter’s 3rd birthday and they were amazing! Everyone loved the desserts, they were so beautiful and delicious! Jessie is great to work with, very professional, flexible and creative! Will definitely use her bakery again in the future :)

When we tasted the raspberry and vanilla cake Jesse baked for us to taste test for our wedding, we literally had no additional input for her — it was perfect. The right balance between cookie and filling is a challenge, and very few people get close - in fact, for a long time, the closest I ever found to the perfect whoopie pie was from a well-known shop in Maine.That is, until I had a whoopie pie from Shire Cottage Bakery. The cookie has a perfect amount of flavor and texture, without being too crunchy or too soggy. The filling is ideally balanced and has a bit of a buttercream crunch to it. It's no longer necessary to travel states away for the perfect whoopie pie - SCB makes them here in The Berkshires!And does not take into consideration the range of other, equally fantastic baked goods that are made at SCB - some of the best not just in the region, but that I've had the opportunity to taste. I reached out to Jessie last minute before my wedding, when my original baker bailed on me last minute. She was extremely kind and helpful. The cake absolutely amazing! We ordered the lemon meringue and it was SO good. All our guests raved about it. She delivered the cake and patiently waited at the house almost an hour for the flowers for the cake, as the florist was extremely late. I highly recommend this bakery.
I contacted Jessie to make an order of cupcakes for the chemotherapy nurses at BMC, as it was my last day of treatment.Not only did Jessie make some delicious cupcakes (including gluten free), she wouldn't accept any payment for her work.A talented baker and a stand-up person. The nurses on the floor loved them!

Shire Cottage Bakery made us a cutting cake and cupcakes for our wedding in September 2021. They both turned out beautifully! Working with Jessie what we wanted for the cake was very easy, and she always responded quickly to messages or questions. The cupcakes (we opted for three different flavors) were really enjoyed by our guests, and we got a ton of compliments. The peach bellini cupcakes were my favorite!
