Just left this great Mexican restaurant! My family and I enjoyed a nice meal, with great portions! The atmosphere was very relaxing! Not too busy or overcrowded! Enjoyed eating here for my first time! Definitely recommend trying their salmon with their white sauce!! DELICIOUS ???

We drove 30 minutes, inspired by the great reviews. The server was nice. The restaurant appeared clean. They gave us complimentary cheese quesadillas (appetizer) and dessert burritos. The chips were served in a woven basket without a paper liner. Eating chips directly from a basket that cannot be washed/sanitized and that could have been in rotation and touched by hundreds of customers is not appetizing. In general, the food lacked flavor. The strawberry margarita tasted like it was made from a powdered drink mix. The tamale was the size of a large burrito. It was chicken in a dish layered with masa dough and topped with lettuce. The chimichanga came out as 3 rolled crispy tacos. One of them had a large piece of gristle/bone. The steak quesadillas were served on 3 taco sized tortillas with sour cream and lettuce. The dessert burrito was filled with a banana flavored custard and served with a scoop of ice cream. I am truly baffled at all the high ratings. The money they spend on the free appetizers and desserts should be invested in seasoning. I am not unrealistic. I did not expect to find authentic Mexican food in Agawam, MA. I did however expect a reasonable Americanized version. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences in recent memory, and I purchase several meals out on a weekly basis.

Love D Patron! Fun Mexican vibe inside and out. Large parking lot. Once seated they bring out a bowl of hot chips and homemade salsa as well as a free cheese quesadilla. I find the food excellent. After dinner if you have ordered a drink with alcohol they bring you a free shot of tequila with your check. If you enjoy Mexican I highly recommend giving it a tryParking: Large free parking lot

We just had a great experience at D Patron! We had dinner, drinks, apps, and dessert. All of the food was delicious and the service was great! We will be back soon and often.

We almost didn't try this place because of location--meaning the last two restaurants in this building were not good. But, it's Mexican now, and we had to try it out. Glad we did.First the chips and salsa were exceptional--fresh and crispy with no greasiness. Then we were served a complimentary small quesadilla which was a nice touch. Our two entrees, a chicken mole served with rice and beans and fresh avocado. My husbands only remark: more mole sauce please, and I had a combination chile rellenos, enchilada and chimichanga and asked for double beans and no rice. I was pleasantly surprised that my meal came with a generous portion of freshly made guacamole. Very unusual. Both meals were well-prepared and tasty. This is not chain food, which means experience may vary--hence some odd review discrepancies. But our meal was not only very authentic, our server was above par and very attentive and very willing to accommodate my menu change of double beans with no rice.Another pleasant surprise was a complimentary dessert taco with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. Yum!Best of all, the prices are very reasonable and portions are a good value. We shall return.

An affordable and amazing lunch spot close to Six Flags New England! Staff were friendly, understanding of dietary restrictions, and very attentive.Food portions were generous. Chips and salsa were regularly replenished. Delicious and classic Mexican cuisine! There aren't too many parking spots but we didn't have an issue parking around 4pm on a weekend in the summer. We were visiting in the summer and there was already some Christmas decor up (a total bonus in my book!)
