The food here is very good Unfortunately they are very slow, any time I put an online order in i always wind up waiting way longer than the time it is said to be ready. I know they want the atmosphere to feel authentic but they could definately upscale it

I stopped by a couple hours ahead of time to place an order. I paid and tipped when I placed the order.
I returned at the exact time my food should have been ready. The cashier was unaware of my order, and tried to charge me again. The order was not even begun. I had to wait fifteen minutes inside the restaurant like a moron while my family waited in the car.
I don’t care how good your food is, this is not an acceptable way to do business.

I ordered from them on DoorDash and they forgot my whole meal. They gave me my corn and chips and guacamole but NOT MY BURRITO BOWL ARE YOU SO SERIOUS BRUH

My lovely bride and I had never eaten there so we wanted to try it today. I was a little disappointed. The Macho burrito was humongous, it alone could have feed 4 People with single serving portions. It had good flavor but, the cheese was not melted the inner ingredients were all cold including the beef. Quite disappointing. The refried beans had no sauce & no taste. My lovely bride said it was all okay.

Some of the worst tasting Mexican food that I've had up here in western mass. .. My red enchiladas tasted like lasagna, rice undercooked, black beans unseasoned. Luckily I didn't pay, free at work, but after hearing about this place for years, very disappointing.

Although I enjoy the other Maco taco locations this one did disappoint a little. Food was still on point and I would do take out but pass on table service. Food was fresh but we felt some items were over cooked. I prefer the self service salsa options over having to ask staff for what is needed. Staff were helpful and kind though. We had tacos, pitas and taco salad. I appreciate that this location has ground meat tacos many other Mexican restaurants don’t carry the ground beef ones anymore.

Birria special and house burrito! Every time. Chipotle ain't got nothing on Macho. I have crohns disease and this is thank god the best and my body can tolerate it. Much love Macho Taco!

I recently visited this spot and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I tried both the Cali burrito and the street tacos with carne asada, and they were excellent—authentic and full of flavor. The salsa was also great. Coming from San Diego, where Mexican food sets a high bar, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this place definitely delivers. While San Diego still holds the crown, it's great to have found a place in MA that brings a taste of home. The friendly staff was an added bonus. I’ll definitely be stopping by again when I’m in the Springfield area!
