I mean, I expect more. Sichuan beef was a gooey pile of battered beef (we think?) and wasn’t spicy at all. Lomein was just ok, pretty saucy and mushy, boneless spare ribs were more like jerky. Just meh. Just my opinion.

So, I'll change my review if I go back and it returns to normal. Had ordered on a busy day, new year. Instead of turning away customers for being obviously overwhelmed, they continued to take orders, and I waited 2 hours plus. It was absolutely madness. The food was terrible and not up to usual standards I'm reviewing this late because I'm torn, they were fantastic but knowing when you're obviously underwater and people are helping themselves to orders left out is kind of insane. Please tell me you learned from this.

My daughter and I order here once a week. We love their lo mein. There crab rangoons are great as well. Definitely a great place. Everytime I call they recognize me and know my order.

I have been patronizing New King Yen for at least twenty years, and truly enjoy their food. It has been consistently delicious, and of quality. One of my favorite dishes is the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. I also enjoy their Wonton and Egg Drop Soups, and seasonal Shrimp and Asparagus. When dining in the restaurant, the chef will accommodate preferences if able. The two young ladies who are sisters are very kind.
