This is one of those hole in the wall places that is very good. The avacado ball was great, must try item. Today the sashimi wasn't the best, normally better. Except for the sea scallop, it was very good. The Uni were so small but tasty. The hand rolls came out late or something, the seaweed became chewy. The softshell crab batter was very sweet for some reason. Tasted weird. The seared sea scallop roll was very good. Had a smoky flavor to it. Caterpillar was only ok.Overall still one of the better sushi spot. Would recommend to anyone. This place is small so maybe wait on busy days.
As a touring musician, I'm giving this 5 stars for Service, Quality & the Smiles even at close to closing. I travel the country regularly.. And this place is a gem in the heart of Brighton. Thank you for a great meal!Seared Yellowtail Maki with truffle sauce & Spicy Crispy tuna Maki. AMAZING!! RECOMMENDED!! ❤️❤️❤️
Fresh and high quality ingredients, inventive rolls that differ slightly from other restaurants in the area. Has more traditional Japanese food as well that you will find missing at other establishments.
Amazing... the best hidden jewel in Allston! It's so easy to miss because it's tiny. The chef's love for his food came through for us, not just in the pride he took while serving each dish (yes, we order half the menu) but mainly the attention to detail and the unique interpretation to modern sushi. We will be regulars, no doubt!
We ordered take out and arrived before the pickup time, the food was cold and tasted like the fried parts of it were fried in old oil. The wonton soup was cold as well. The salad looked like the greens had sit outside the fridge for a while in the day and then just put together at the last minute. I honestly thought for a second that maybe they just gave me an order that someone left behind.
As an Asian, I have high standards for sushi and sashimi so it was difficult to find satisfactory sushi. I have been visiting this restaurant once every 2 weeks after discovering this restaurant. I've tried several dishes such as sushi, maki, roll and noodle. But Chirashi is the best of the best. A variety of fish toppings go up, fresh and plentiful as well. Today, I ordered Chirashi, rainbow maki and miso with uber. The taste is always delicious. I highly recommend 'Chirashi' at this restaurant. !_!
Avoid!!! I regret that I didn’t check the google review. Bad Fish. Not fresh at all. The salmon is black and sashimi taste really loose. Very pricey for low quality food. The eel rice I ordered eel is too sweet and only 3 little pieces. They even put carrot inside. Not professional at all. Over all, they charge 18% tip automatically. For bad environment and bad food. It’s doesn’t worth $80 at all.
Fish were so fresh! Great quality sushi. They got one of my order incorrect but it still tasted great
Doesn't matter how tasty a place is, what matters most is how they treat people.Today my daughter and I sat on a bench outside for about an hour with our pooch, just enjoying the day. We ordered online and waited for them to bring our order out just like the 10+ people we saw them serve while we were sitting there. People recieved their food with a smile and a rush back inside. When my order was ready I was required to confirm my order with a receipt. Racism is a real thing, and it is revealed through micro aggressions like this. My name was written on the package. I asked if she was looking for "Adrian". She confirmed she was but still made me confirm it was my order. As if my name wasn't confirmation enough. I'm disappointed I gave such a place my money. Be aware, Black people are not the same "poc" as Asian people. They do not respect you or your money. #StopBlackHate
My favorite sushi restaurant in Boston. What I love about the sushi is that it’s high quality and always fresh. The portions is very fair and the price is fair for the quality that you get. This is my go to place when I’m craving high quality sushi. Favorite dishes are chirashi, avocado ball, and fried green tea ice cream.

Incredible! This is a must eat if you are craving sushi in Boston :) awesome service too!!
Quite possibly the most flavorful Chirashi i have ever had! Very high quality fish and generous variety
Came here as a party of two for an 8pm dinner on Sunday night. The space is pretty small and only has three 3-person tables and one 2-person table, but we were seated right away.We ordered the Tori Karage, Jalapeno Twister, Alligator Maki, Spicy Scallop Maki, and Eel Maki. The karage was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. For the sushi, I have a bias towards eel, so the eel maki was my favorite. The employees are friendly, and the space is very peaceful and intimate. I would definitely come back for another laid-back meal of high-quality sushi.
The food is so good. I got the sushi and uni. Everything is fresh and new. The waitress are really nice and sevice mind. I will get back to the restuarant soon.
