Gong Cha is a worldwide boba chain that has many locations across Massachusetts, what makes this location unique is the presence of a Korean corndog/Mochi Donut store inside it as well. The staff operates both of these stores at the same time, which can make waiting longer if there is multiple people at each store, but I've never had to wait long for boba here.
The boba has been pretty consistent overall in terms of flavor and quality, and I haven't had a bad experience yet.

Came here a few times for boba and all of the experiences were terrible. Kept giving them chances thinking they were just busy and having a bad day. Not sure why they bother having food being sold on the side (mochi donuts and korndogs) while short staffed at making boba. This girl literally took her sweet time making drinks moving around slowly as if she doesn't want to be there, and stopped in the middle of a drink to take someone else's order. Then she somehow made 5 other drink orders that was ordered AFTER us. Took her 30 minutes to finally finished ours. She was also sneezing and sniffling while making drinks, without a mask. Never coming here again, maybe for the donuts but not boba.

I visited the Gong Cha store at 154 Harvard Ave, Allston, MA 02134 on July 22, 2024, excited to participate in the Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) promotion. The store had a poster prominently displayed advertising the promotion. I ordered all three promotional drinks in medium size after confirming with the server that the promotion was still valid. They assured me that only the scratch codes were available, not the keychain, which was fine by me.
However, after placing my order, I noticed the staff scrambling to find the codes. After making me wait for a few minutes, they finally informed me that the manager claimed the FFXIV promotion had ended and they could no longer hand out the codes. This is completely false according to the official website, which clearly states the promotion runs until August 28, 2024.
I feel utterly scammed and deceived by this store. I wasted my time and money for a promotion they falsely advertised. This is not just disappointing; it’s unacceptable. I urge Gong Cha to address this issue immediately and ensure that customers are not misled in this way.

I was super disappointed with another boba spot, unable to be refunded and almost cried while ordering from here after having a bad day and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THE BOBA RIGHT! The boba I chewy and the milk/smoothie isnt sour or gone bad as well as the taro being sweet and not like the an asbestos coated walls chunks
