They have pretty good tea. It’s fragrant and has good smokiness to it. Though they are very busy, I would come back again! Also, maybe it’s worth to order from their app and pick up when it’s ready cz they are very busy.

One of the best tea places in Boston. Great fruit smoothies. Recommend getting their coconut mango bloom and graph slush. Good amount of fresh fruit in the drink. The lines are long, so make sure to order ahead and pick up.

When this Allston location first opened last year, the hype was unreal. I had to wait a couple of weeks before I even dared to get in line. While the waits on weekend evenings are still pretty rough, the crowds have definitely thinned out a bit now that they’ve opened more outposts around Boston.
I've loved almost every drink I’ve tried here. I love that they use real dairy, fresh fruit, and absolutely no powders. They essentially pioneered the premium tea market in China (and actually invented the cheese cloud foam), and they manage to keep that high quality incredibly consistent across a massive menu. Even the drinks that look like heavy fruit smoothies are infused with premium bases like jasmine green tea, which gives them a much lighter, floral aftertaste. The OG cheese cloud cap also adds a really sophisticated layer of savoriness. My favorites so far were the Cloud Coconut Blue, the Coconut Mango Boom, and the Cloud Mango.
This isn’t the most convenient HeyTea location for me, but it’s in the perfect spot to hang out and grab a drink after a heavy Chinese or Korean dinner in the neighborhood. Will definitely keep coming back to try their new flavors.

there is definitely a wait because the drinks are delicious so be patient while you and if you order. the store is very small so dont be surprised but the drinks are worth it. the coconut sago is my go-to along with the grape slush!

I came in here for a boba with my friend after dinner at 6:07 and we ordered from the kiosk no problem. After we waited about 25 mins I noticed the couple behind me had received their order so I went to the pick up counter to ask if my order was ready. The monitor had my number as “preparing” for 10 minutes at this point so I figure I would ask. They girl looked at my number and looked at the screen and just said it’s not ready. She did not look at the available drinks. I waited another 20 mins. At this point it’s 6:55 and I’ve been standing in small waiting area for 50 mins.
I ask another employee and he scans the drinks only to find me and my friends drink (the exact drinks that have been on the counter for 20+ mins).
The mango grapefruit boom was good but not worth 1 hour of standings

I was SO SO excited when they opened a Heytea near me. I had only tried it once before in NY but loved it. This location is just as good. I tend to go for their mango or strawberry based drinks but everything is good. I recommend you order on the app and just pickup to make it a smoother experience. Yes, the price is a little high but what you get is just so good its worth it!

Please bring the old recipe coconut mango boom back😭. I honestly came here a lot but this time my coconut mango boom tasted different, they put more coconut milk in and when I drank it, it was like sweet soup. The mango was not strong anymore. I asked the bartender and they told me that the coconut milk has been changed. It was not bartender’s fault so we just left, drank like 1/3 and dumped the rest. Is there any way that I can get the old recipe whenever I order?
