Got Brussels sprout, popovers, perogies, Mac and cheese, and corn chowder - all of it was just unreal. One of the best meals one can get around here
Wow what a resteraunt. Lamb meatloaf was delicious, oysters were thick, and the mushroom perogi was scrumptious. The cool cucumber mixed drink was delicious. Just wish I was there for weenie Wednesday
Great place for brunch, music is a bit loud but overall great food and our server was great I forgot her name but she had braids and was so attentive and kind
I recommend the snickers bar
Mac and cheese reviewed.
Good. I’ve ordered Sloans Mac and cheese several times and have yet to be disappointed. Green onion is a nice touch, but the pretzel bits don’t do it as much for me. Will order again. 7.5/10
We were only looking for a grownup place to meet friends after the Boston Calling concert for some drinks and to catch-up. There's very little available in this neighborhood, so Sloane's was our only choice, and we never expected it would be so flawless, inviting, creative, and showcase such hospitality. I could live just on their appetizers, meant to be shared for the table. They're fun and playful and flawlessly executed. An instant win were the cheese and onion popovers, and the tomato tart but even the pigs-in-a-blanket were clever and original. Loved the cocktail menu where even traditionally sweet options were crafted with restraint to highlight flavor rather than dulling the mouth with sugar syrup. We finished with a couple desserts and let me just say the banana cream pie should be mandatory at every table! Service was so smooth and unobtrusive, they never blinked even though we monopolized our table for rather a long time with our friends. Highly recommend.
Awesome corn chowder with hot Italian sausages. The roasted Brussel sprouts were cooked just right.
Basic American food
A really great place to get a meal and hang out in Allston. Food is amazing, drinks are awesome, staff is very friendly, and there is an awesome outdoor bar/ patio. Highly recommend.
I met my long lost friend of 20 yrs here for lunch. It was quiet enough for us to have a wonderful conversation. Our waitress was nice but she could have been nicer. She wasn't warm and inviting but she was just enough nice. Anyway, the food was excellent. It's in a nice neighborhood. O would definitely go again when I'm in town maybe get a different waitress.
We had an amazingly delicious brunch at Sloane’s. The blueberry pancakes were as big as my plate and coffee was served with a little cinnamon cookie on the side! Need I say more? ?☕️

Not a bad spot overall. The appetizer was a bit underseasoned, and the heavy sauce overpowered the flavors. The fries were overcooked and felt more like scraps. However, the atmosphere was pleasant. Service was great!

I went to Sloane’s with a bunch of friends for a reunion lunch. They seated us in our own side room for our large group. The service was very friendly and accommodating and the food was great. Definitely recommend Sloane’s and look forward to returning.

We walked in way ahead of our reservation hoping to be seated, but there were no immediate openings. So, we took a seat at the bar. I am so happy we did because we ended up eating there, and meeting Jason, the affable, kind and professional bartender, who took such excellent care of us.
The food was tasty, but it was Jason that made the evening. The Mets/Dodgers playoffs were on, but when I mentioned that the WNBA playoffs were going to be on at 8 PM, he said he would change the channel for me. Did that make me want to stay longer and order a chocolate espresso martini? Yes. Was I happy I did? Absolutely! Might I go back on Sunday night to (hopefully) watch the NY Liberty beat the incredibly talented Minnesota Lynx? That is a very strong maybe. Even if I don’t, I highly recommend that you go and make friends with Jason and the rest of the friendly staff. He makes you feel like an old and cherished friend, which is rare in this world.

The salmon was ridiculously amazing, and the fork and knife burger was great, too. What made the meals stand out was that even the sides, the rice and fries, were just as good as the main element of the entrée. The bartender was fantastic, too!
