Friendly atmosphere, great service
Met my sister and brother in law here recently for my sister's birthday. For a Friday night, it wasn't busy. Our dinners were generous portions and for the most part pretty good. My sister had chicken quesadillas, my brother in law the chicken parmesan and I had the vegetable gnocchi. Our server, when with us, was attentive. However, follow through required another server, consistently through the night.
Food and beverage selection were very good. The wait staff was a litte slow but that's to be expected on a Friday night.
Tonight I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap with a side of pickles. I was only expecting a few however when I picked up my order I had a whole cup of them! All I have to say is god bless the soul that prepped my order. I had a real crappy day at work but opening my order to these delicious pickles made my whole night. Yes, sometimes all it takes is a few pickles. Thank you and I love you.
Food is consistently good but waitress was neglectful. Dropped bill on table without asking about dessert etc. Going through the minimum. Perfect recipe for losing business
One of the best places in town hands down. Hell I went in and fixed the toilet handle and they paid for my meal lol.
Fun place, nice little tavern to have comfort food and craft brews.
Love this place.....wish they were open for lunch...
I really enjoyed they way the Ale House is set, lots of room, but I wish the food was better. We like to try Aps and order from there. We had the poutine fries and the loaded fries. It was like a salt cube, the basic Mac was just that. I will say the pretzel w and cheese were pretty good.I personally won't be going back!!Happy Exploring !!
Lots of beers on tap. Delicious cocktails. Good bar food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. This is a great, local spot. Interior has historic charm and spacious enough to social distance if you want. Lots of classic arcade game machines on the 2nd floor. Views of the water from the back.
Restaurantji Recommends
Food is great, but the beer list is even better
Summer beers are fruity, I love them, my guy prefers the local lagers. Either way, plenty to choose from that will make you happy. The food is excellent. I recommend the fish and chips with sweet potatoes. Their green beans are fresh and snappy.Pics are of pierogis with buffalo sauce and caramel cinnamon bun with vanilla ice creamDefinitely returning.
Great beer suggestions, great workers, amazing food, very chill yet historic atmosphere
Have only done takeout a few times, but the food is great! Have been inside a few times, and the atmosphere of the restaurant/bar is really cool. Excited to bring friends and family here in the future!
Always a great beer selection from small brewers. After 5:00 today, you can't get into an Irish pub between Boston and Portsmouth, to save your life. They are open with some good stout selections, and the bangers and mashed is excellent!
