This brewery is fantastic. Every beer I've had has been fantastic. They specialize in European styles, so lots of German and Czech styles, including the best hefeweizen I've had in the US. The food is quite good but limited to appetizers; they frequently have food trucks for bigger meals, and good ones. Warning: the beer list on their website is infrequently updated, and I've found it's usually wrong.
Five years ago, I simply gave this place five stars, and I can't believe I did not elaborate. Admittedly, I have a list with a few other to try, but Silvaticus is the #1 brewery I have been to in Massachusetts. And that's based on the beer alone. Everything I've ever had here is a masterpiece, from old standards to interesting experiments. Whatever the style, I think the brewers here tend to appreciate crisp, clean beers with tremendous flavors. Oh, and the spot...
Very hard to find a brewery that does European/Old World beers. And wow, does this place deliver. For those that aren’t into that, the pale ales are also excellent. Really cool interior and the bar tender was friendly and very knowledgeable. Only sad I don’t live close by to frequent it.
