Nice and inviting

Absolutely love this place! Great selection of coffee(with ability to buy coffee they roasted) and food( croissant selection is good, their sandwiches are super tasty), it also has snacks for kids, so highly recommended! Never had bad experience there.

We found this lovely bake shop when we recently stayed in Amesbury. We enjoyed the atmosphere, great coffees in a lovely old brick building built within the old industrial buildings which have been preserved from the days of the mills. The sandwiches too were very good

Iced latte and almond croissant are my usual 🤍 great coffee and pastries

It looks really pretty inside, but the food taste is a shot in the dark- I normally get the thumbprint cookies which are good, but I got a cinnomon roll this last time and it was pretty stiff to bite through.

On Saturday morning we, four adults and a little kid, went to Market Square Bakehouse for breakfast. This time we ordered lemon juice, Turkey Panini, Almond Croissant, and Muffins, all of which were delicious. I really like the comfortable tables and chairs in the store, as well as the clean restrooms.

This place just checks all the boxes you'd ever want checked in a cafe.

Is it warm and inviting with an original ambiance and a bunch of friendly folks behind the counter?

Yes. In fact it is a brick-lined, tall-windowed turn of the 20th-century-fixtured paradise for the Cozy-phile.

The hot coffee and iced coffee are both great. I've also had their barista drinks. The cappuccinos and espresso both hit right. Fantastic selection of baked goods, sandwiches and deserts, last time I went. I have not had a miss when eating anything there.

But from literal pillar to post this place could not be more fun to hang out in and just absorb.
