The chocolate is so well balanced. This is the work of a person who really understands flavors and textures. Clearly created out of a desire to make something really good. Best chocolate shop I’ve ever been to.

THE BEST scones I have ever had...and I am a scone fanatic. Coffee and cookies also pretty good. The wait staff was so kind and efficient. The 3 stars for atmosphere have to do with the outside seating which is limited, tired and old. All they need to do is clean it up a bit and make the space a little more attractive and this would be a stellar 5 star across the board

The coffee and chocolates are excellent but expensive. Unfortunately, the customer service is subpar, leading to an awkward atmostphere. I had intended to work from Ovedia a few times a month, but the loud converstaion among coworkers make it difficult to concentrate.During my recent visit to Ovedia, I waited for many minutes at the cash register without being acknowledged, despite being the only customer there. Although the staff member briefly made eye contact with me, she quickly looked away. While I understand she was busy making a latte for another customer, a simple "I'll be right with you" would have improved the experience. Also, other staff member were present but they also did not acknowledge me.
Thank you Ms. Antoinette for your patience and sharing your beautiful shop, and showing the Girl Scouts how to make chocolate treats! We took home a few and they were so yummy!!

Good chocolate even better coffee!! I recently discovered this place has the best coffee in Amesbury (yes...including dunkins). Definitely give the flavored coffee a try. I get the chocolate and vanilla twist!! They also have really cute chocolate lollipops. Or just small squares of different chocolate types to try them all! Personally I prefer the dark cholocate!
