We had takeout, so I can’t comment on service. Food tastes mediocre at best. Chicken is overcooked, brocoli undercooked, sauces are burnt, freshness is dubious.
They say that in order to figure out a chineze restaurant, try their Hot and Sour Soup. I did, it’s not good. I hate to give bad review, but in this case I can’t do better.
I wonder how they have so many misleading reviews saying that the food is excelent. Hard to explain, unless these reviews are somehow manipulated.

Overall a pleasant experience, every time. Our server was very sweet and super polite. The food was amazing. I ordered the General Tao’s Chicken, with crab Rangoon, and Lo Mein. The sauce is super yummy. I’d recommend if you have trouble choosing what to eat. 😋

Recommended by someone who drove an hour here just for the “best Szechuan food in the U.S.” Will be back for the authentic Chinese food and hospitality!

The food is so super good! I’d say it’s the most authentic Chinese food in nearby towns and the servile is phenomenal. I’ve been looking for places like this and I’m super happy that I’ve found this hidden gem! Try the Wen Ha chicken if you can take the spiciness. The dry pot cabbage is also a must try to me.

Areas of improvement: Sushi and poke bowl didn't taste fresh and lacked flavor. Neither dish looked appetizing on the plate. General Tso's Chicken was chewy and mainly breading.
The bad: The Ashland Maki special roll (>$20) had old avocado in it so I stopped eating it. (pictured).
The good: The food was on time and the individual at the front desk was nice.

July 2025 - Overpriced and Disappointing! General Tso’s Chicken was all bread with little bits of chicken, 90% breading 10% chicken… extremely disappointing! If you’re going to charge a premium for your food, I expect premium food! Fried rice was OK but they use frozen veggies. The egg roll was excellent and the service was good which is the only reason I gave two stars.

Food is very good but expensive! That local Chinese food recipe and also American Chinese .However, when you check out, you need to ask them for the detail receipt unless they charge you more than it should!

We stopped in for the first time to listen to Traditional Celtic music which happens the 1st Monday of the month. We ordered the most amazing food as we watched some great live music. We’ve traveled and dined at some of the best restaurants and I can say this is up there! The “Candy Crush” app was outstanding! Spicy Tuna & Ebi maki was amazing. Fried Peking Ravioli was the best I’ve had. The Pork Fried Rice was fresh & delicious.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hidden gem in Ashland. A special thanks to Harvey who not only was the bartender but hustled to be our waiter & was the kindest, hard worker.
