“Funky old dive bar turned into a pierogi palace. Saw it on dinners, drive ins and dives. Wide selection of perogies. Skip the potato and cheese (meh) and go with the more creative ones. Their homemade Kielbasa is great. If you get more than one kind make sure they mark what it is at least on take out.”

“We just had the most amazing pastry from Sweet Rose—made with zucchini, of all things! I’ve never had zucchini taste this good (sorry, Mom!). Light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. Huge compliments to the bakers for turning a humble veggie into something so delicious. This was easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this bakery. We’ll definitely be back soon!”

“The atmosphere is very nice here and staff incredibly friendly. Coffee is delicious- my only complaint would be that the lattes are never warm enough. I like my coffee hot, the lattes are luke warm. I always have to bring mine home to heat it unfortunately.”

I got the Katsu Poke Bowl and let me tell you it’s delicious and a must try if you’ve never had Umami’s food before! Whatever the recipe for this chicken is it’s perfect! The chicken is perfectly cooked perfectly and lightly breaded and the food it comes with is healthy and clean and fresh! I was seriously impressed and I’m thinking about calling in an order again as I write this because the food was that good! Most Asian Cuisine places are just a run of the mill Chinese or Japanese food spot but not this place!! This place has a variety of different types of authentic homemade Asian dishes and they are all properly and generously portioned and cooked and taste delicious! Thank you guys so much for your dedication to making good food and nonetheless HOMEMADE food in a world where everything is super processed and unhealthy, you guys definitely stand out!”
