We had an absolutely perfect wedding at this venue! From booking to the day of the wedding everyone was extremely nice, helpful and professional making planning the wedding go smooth and enjoyable! We worked with Sydney as the wedding producer and she was on top of every detail all the way through and made everything perfect! Matt was our event manager and made everything perfect the day of as well! Sierra was a perfect bridal attendant too! The venue was everything we dreamed of and all our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was. Over all everyone went above and beyond to help us out through the entire process and we are beyond happy we booked this venue! We would recommend it to anyone looking to plan their wedding! Thank you guys for the perfect day 😊

Beautiful landscape. Food 10/10, Staff 10/10. I was invited to a wedding and I was very impressed with the venue service, food and grounds. This is a beautiful place for any special event this is my first place I would strongly recommend to anyone.

Independence Harbor makes for a gorgeous garden wedding atmosphere. The grounds are gorgeous and there are endless photo opportunities among the flowers. As a wedding photographer, I couldn't ask for anything more. Inside, Matt and Sydney are great and super helpful and organized. I love working at Independence Harbor.

I was pleased with the overall experience I got for my wedding at Independence Harbor without breaking the bank. The food was incredible and had a large selection; the venue was beautiful; the staff made the wedding day flow smoothly, and even ensured that the groom and I were fed and hydrated. The only reason I rate it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is that previously, this venue had numerous floral beds, which were stunning. I was a little disappointed on my wedding day to see that they didn't have any flowers outside, which is what drew me to this venue. I'm not sure if the lack of flowers is a permanent change, but I hope not.

Choosing Independence Harbor was a decision that we will never regret. We had our wedding at the end of March 2025 and worked with both Sydney and Jocelyn. Communication with Sydney was constant and she was always available if we had a question. The price for the venue was also so affordable and staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and taken care of throughout the ceremony and reception. We would recommend this venue to anyone getting married and were so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Sydney and Jocelyn.

Had an amazing experience with Sydney and Jocelyn! They were extremely helpful and diligent the whole time. From helping us set up to getting things for us we didn’t even realize we needed they were there every step of the way! Such a beautiful place and amazing staff!

My husband and I have been a part of the wedding vendor world for years and never have we come across such attitude and unprofessionalism from venue staff. They did not use all of the supplies the bride provided and when I told the bride……SHE asked me to ask them why (because she hadn’t arrived yet) I got a “well maybe you shouldn’t have told her” with an eye roll from the coordinator. She was totally out of line because I was nothing but polite about it. The amount that these venues charge for the bare minimum these days is ridiculous. At the very least they should be providing peace of mind and a good RESPECTFUL attitude. I have worked in costumer service most of my life and I understand everyone has bad days but you need to suck it up, put on a smile and treat your paying customers who keep you in business with the upmost respect. We have been to and a part of many weddings and as beautiful as the day was because of the beautiful couple we celebrated. We would NEVER suggest Independence Harbor for this reason alone. Very sad!

As father of the bride i have to say our special night . 9/21/24 was 100% caring and quality throughout. Matt and Jocelyn work very hard and know the importance of flow. The food and drink were spectacular! This was an evening wedding, but the outside lighting showed the gorgeous gardens. What a great time!

Many people ordered the prime rib. It was a wedding.
Mine was more red than I care for or can eat. I asked if it was possible to get a piece cooked a little more and the waitress said that’s why we ask how you want it. That was never the case as we had to pick from the options offered by the bride and groom and they didn’t ask when they came around to the table for dinner. Another person asked the same and she said I am only taking back 2 and that’s it. A couple other people at the table also didn’t like there’s and said you need to be a carnivore to eat it and were afraid to send there’s back. Unrealized how hard waitressing can be so I was nice about it and she was very rude and gave me a nasty look I didn’t see but others at the table mentioned and the other person who gave hers back got the same nasty look.
The waitress also said again “we get complaints all the time about this that’s why you are suppose to order what you want” .
All but 2 on our table did not eat there meal as well as others even though they were not impressed but were hungry.
The one person who got the. Chicken piccata said there was no lemony taste and just blah so didn’t finish hers either. Lots of meals were barely eaten and a little au jus would be good . When our prime rib came back within a couple minutes it was so dry we left it and one person who saw where it was cut said it looks like saw dust. Definitely needed au jus sauce by consensus . The apps. Beef Wellington , spring rolls or what ever they were and the chicken pieces with a honey mustard sauce were all good and the melon on the fruit platter was very good.
Luckily we all ate the apps so did ok not eating the meal. The potatoes also had a tangy taste to them which was ok for some but not others and never tasted anything like that.
The food and rudeness of the waitress which was not warranted as we were nice about it having worked in catering and knowing they are busy was enough to not use them in the future.
The apps and people at the bar got them the 3 stars.
Probably should have been more like a 2.

I had the pleasure to be a secondary to photograph a wedding here for the first time (I usually lead on weddings). It was GREAT! Loved it here, Jocelyn is 10/10 a wonderful coordinator. She worked so well with us and supplied even a bit more time to make sure we got things done for the couple. The food was excellent! I would have totally utilized the garden some more if I had the chance, the views here are outstanding. Would love the opportunity to photograph here again! Thanks so much to Jocelyn + Staff for crushing it!

Very nice, simple, cute, quaint, yet slightly elegant venue for a middle-of-the-road American wedding. As I recently attended one here, I can easily recommend this location in southern New England. You can tell the place is well managed, maintained, and easily accessible off the highway. It can probably hold around 200 guests and has a wonderfully landscaped outdoor ceremony spot with a large patio for guests wanting to step away from the action inside and lounge.

Good food and area. Just rushed off the tables with cleanup
