We got married on 8.8.2025 and it was truly a fairytale wedding. It was everything we could've dreamt of. Our event producer was Lexie and she was incredible. From the transition from IH to SEG, she made sure everything went smoothly. We can't say enough about how wonderful she was from start to finish! From planning, to the day of the wedding she took the time to make sure everything was perfect. I am 7 months pregnant and she made sure I was taken care of the entire day from staying hydrated in the August heat to making sure I took a rest when needed during ceremony photos. She even brought over a chair so I could rest after taking photos outside when my feet started to swell. She was truly HEAVEN SENT. I don't think I could've done it without her. Our wedding party and family raved about how wonderful she was the entire day, and she was truly that. Wonderful We had so many compliments from our guest about Lexie, her team, the venue and the food. Everything was perfect. The attention to detail when decorating, to the wedding day timeline. The kindness and compassion from the staff was amazing. You can truly tell they cared, and on such a special day that means a lot and even the guest could tell. It was truly a dream come true. If you're looking for a beautiful and affordable wedding venue with a wonderful staff this is the place to be! If I could give them 100 stars I truly would. Independence Harbor makes for a gorgeous garden wedding atmosphere. The grounds are gorgeous and there are endless photo opportunities among the flowers. As a wedding photographer, I couldn't ask for anything more. Inside, Matt and Sydney are great and super helpful and organized. I love working at Independence Harbor.

I was pleased with the overall experience I got for my wedding at Independence Harbor without breaking the bank. The food was incredible and had a large selection; the venue was beautiful; the staff made the wedding day flow smoothly, and even ensured that the groom and I were fed and hydrated. The only reason I rate it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is that previously, this venue had numerous floral beds, which were stunning. I was a little disappointed on my wedding day to see that they didn't have any flowers outside, which is what drew me to this venue. I'm not sure if the lack of flowers is a permanent change, but I hope not.
