My husband and I had a lovely time at Lucia's Tavola. We are moving in to a nearby town and wanted to explore restaurants in the area. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated at a lovely table by the window. The menu had some wonderful choices and really had something for every taste in Italian dishes. They had a nice wine by the glass list which is important for me as my husband generally drinks beer. Our waiter was friendly and professional and gave us space and time when needed. Both my husband and I enjoyed the food very much. We had meatballs to share for an appetizer as well as a Caesar salad, both of which were generous portions and tasty too. I had the surf and turf for my main course. The scallops were delicious, and cooked perfectly. Plump and tasty, not chewy as they sometimes can be. They were juicy and just the right consistency . The short rib was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. I would have preferred my dish to have been a little lighter on the sauce but that is being picky, it was still excellent. The risotto to accompany the surf and turf was flavorful and just the right texture. Lovely meal. One suggestion I would make is the beautiful plate the dish came on was not big enough. Not because I wanted a bigger portion, but I like to have some separateness to my foods to either mix the flavors or enjoy them separately and the the style of the plate didn't allow for that. I am pretty sure that it will be one of our favorite spots and by the amount of people who were there early in the evening showed that this place was pretty hot.

Labeling the noise level as "Energetic" is a nice euphemism for "very loud". I doubt there is a lot they can do about it, considering the age of the building. The waiter was nice but not very familiar with the menu.

This is now my new favorite local restaurant. I started with their soecial.summer rise sangria, concicted with a house made strawberry simple syrup...it was divine! The wild mushroom ravioli was out of this world, and the chocolate cake we had for dessert may have been the best I've ever had. The service was top notch.

Table of 4 ready 15 minutes earlier before our reservation. First time not last time. Decided on Lucia's for dinner before Groton Hill Friday night show. Was not disappointed, drinks excellent, appetizers, calimari was excellent. Great service!!

Fantastic food! Outdoor patio was a great little spot. Not many like it around the area. Definitely a place to hang out this summer. Will be back soon!

It was just okay, I guess I just had high expectations based on their prices and their reviews, the short ribs were an odd flavor, their Alfredo pasta was good, nothing amazing, my partner said it was watery. Their crispy chicken was eh.. borderline uncooked, crispy on the outside then a thick later of mush and then a tiny piece of oldly juicy chicken, rather disappointing meal overall. Their chocolate mouse was extremely rich and delicious!
