My husband and I had a lovely time at Lucia's Tavola. We are moving in to a nearby town and wanted to explore restaurants in the area. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated at a lovely table by the window. The menu had some wonderful choices and really had something for every taste in Italian dishes. Labeling the noise level as "Energetic" is a nice euphemism for "very loud". I doubt there is a lot they can do about it, considering the age of the building. The waiter was nice but not very familiar with the menu.
This is now my new favorite local restaurant. I started with their soecial.summer rise sangria, concicted with a house made strawberry simple syrup...it was divine! The wild mushroom ravioli was out of this world, and the chocolate cake we had for dessert may have been the best I've ever had. The service was top notch.
