The corn beef, egg, and Swiss cheese on an English muffin was delicious, and the restaurant has a fun atmosphere.

So the service widely varies depending on who is at the counter. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the awesome Haitian woman on staff is amazing and provides excellent customer service. The others days are a completely different story. This morning I ordered an egg sandwich with egg cheese and sausage and got home and it was only egg. The girls at the counter were very apologetic and offered me a free coffee or pastry, which I greatly appreciated that. However there is another woman who works the counter and I just don’t even order on the days that she is there. She never smiles and always asks me to repeat my order multiple times and just makes me feel like I’m being a bother to her. Love their food, love them for everything else. But just hoping some of these staffing issues get resolved.

Had the Little Shorty (delicious) and a Helles Lager from Under the Stairs in Harvard MA (excellent). Tiramisu for dessert - one of the better ones I’ve had!

Warmest thanks to the Friday lunch staff at Markoh's, our group of old greys required patience along with competence and we got superior service with a smile from all the ladies. Take a bow, I'm sending you roses! jb

I love the cozy atmosphere and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was just okay. I got a breakfast bowl with sausage. The sausage was 2 patties cut in half, they appeared to be microwaved as they were a bit rubbery, taste was okay. The hashbrowns were barely warm and soggy but burnt, not sure how they managed this if, as their menu states, everything is made to order. Scrambled eggs were fine as was the hollandaise, lacking a bit in flavor. I was SO hoping this was going to be a be a better meal, I would have become a regular. The cappuccino was very good.

Really cute family oriented cafe. Iced coffee is affordable and tastes unique. Right in Ayer downtown!

Nice sport for breakfast and lunch of mostly homemade food. My BLT sandwich with added avocado was solid and my sons' BBQ chicken wrap and breakfast bowl were on point. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie which was OK but crumbly so grab a napkin or eat outside. We had a bit of a wait to order and get our food on a Saturday around 1:30 but if I lived closer to the area I'd be back. Street parking was easy almost right in front of the restaurant.

My wife went here for me for father’s day breakfast in bed. Did not disappoint! Cappuccino, bacon/egg croissant sandwich, and a chocolate croissant. Made my morning g. Will definitely be going back for more…

It’s a bummer that service was bad since the food was nice. Called ahead to order a breakfast sandwich and the person on the phone was very nice and said the food was going to be ready in about 5 minutes. I arrived and the person who I spoke with on the phone said that there was a little delay in the order which was fine (gentlemen was very nice throughout my whole experience there).

I then saw what appeared to be the manager of the place walking around. She was coughing near food behind the counter and was walking around the cafe making herself her breakfast (no gloves).

I ordered my food at 7:30am over the phone, and ended up picking my order up around 8am. The manager lady spoke to me when I was paying and told me that the place didn’t start serving breakfast until more like 8:30am, despite the breakfast menu on the website saying breakfast starts at 7am. She sounded a little snippy when she told me that as well. She also encouraged me to call ahead next time when I make an order, which I did. Not only did I pay the establishment over $20, I was also extremely patient during the extra wait. And in return I was treated poorly. Poor communication and rudeness all around. Never going back.

The girl working there with two piercings above her lip is awful at her job. Watcher her serve three people who ordered after me, my order took over 40 mins to complete after ordering (two wraps). Both were made wrong. Terrible worker

They need better coffee and to make it stronger. The pastries are also somewhat disappointing.
