Used to be great. Went in today and they no longer make the donuts I would go in for and limited their menu I’m gener. And the donuts they did have out, looked very sad. I’m bummed that Ayer lost another business to economy ?

I've been going here for years for the Kolaches. They no longer sale them here. This place has really went down in quality of food/drinks and the environment. It looks very run down and dirty. The staffing is kind but clearly struggling. I don't recommend this place anymore. There are far to many other good donuts in the area to recommend this place over them. I'm sad to see this place going downhill.

donuts were decent but nothing special in my personal opinion. staff was friendly.
This location used to sell amazing donuts. It went ownership change and now the donuts are tiny and more expensive. Went recently and some of the donuts were so small they looked like toy donuts. They also don’t taste the same. I really hope the new owners go back to the original way of making donuts.

It’s toasty inside and the donuts aren’t nearly arranged, but they are PHENOMENAL.
I’m not a donut person, but I bring them for my friends kids once a month, so I’ve started sampling donuts as I love to surprise them and get them into food critique.
These donuts are the moistest ones I’ve ever had! And the maple with sprinkles one I had…it was the perfect texture, and the owner threw in two glazed donut holes :-).
Also it came to $1.95. Very affordable.
I’m glad I stopped off!!! If I’m in the area and it’s my turn to bring donuts, this is where I will come to get them!!!

This is a real donut shop. Their donuts have a favor that is missing in their competition.
If you want a real apple fritter and not just filled with. Please give them a try. They are also one of the best donut shops around.

Went here close to closing time because I was in the area and had heard they are a top donut spot. Got a lemon filled and a raspberry jelly filled. Didn't eat them until an hour later and they were still super fresh. Not typical donuts - can't really explain how...maybe it's their size? Smaller than most, honey dipped instead of sugar covered, but I loved them and would go back when I am in the area. The lady gave me some free donuts as well - blueberry cake and plain. Those were also really good!
